The fat act was really uncomfortable viewing. It was not edgy. It was exploitative.
Fat-shaming shouldn't be part of drag and it came very close to it.

I'm still Team Shangela even after the FatSyncing which I'm ashamed to say did make me giggle. I would be happy though if Trixie won, she has performed well. I just need to get over my issues with her make-up. Basically as long as neither Kennedy or Bebe win, I'm good 😁

I just need to get over my issues with her make-up. Basically as long as neither Kennedy or Bebe win, I'm good 😁 I thought it was fascinating to watch them all paint in the last episode, and it really showed the level of talent involved. I don’t love how Trixie paints, but maybe it was because we saw it at different stages while they were getting ready this week, I could really appreciate the precision and art involved. I think she’s actually up there with Kim Chi in terms of her make up talent. Shangela’s make up reminds me of Willem. She’s doing more of a ‘natural’ look. The less said about Kennedy’s make up the better. I think Shangela will get the crown because Ru created that whole storyline over multiple seasons, and I think she has heaps of mainstream cross-over appeal, if she wants to go down that route. I would prefer Trixie to win, but I cannot see it happening. I would think there’s also a desire to have some more diversity in the hall of fame. I think I remember Trixie saying she was part Cherokee but I cannot see a black girl not winning this time.

{Spoiler - click to view} F*&^ing hell.
No way should Kennedy have been top 2. Shangela was robbed.
I haven't yet seen the final few minutes - I had to pause to recover

{Spoiler - click to view} Just had to pause again after the lipsync.
Kennedy just did a lot of dance moves in the background - like one of those modern dances that are there for no real purpose. Yes, she can dance - but it didn't make the emotion of the song.
She can't win. Surely.

That finale had me shook! That top two though!? What a curveball. Watching the clip where the eliminated queen’s individual choices were revealed was a shocker. It goes to show that a lot of choices were influenced by personal grudges though.
Of the top two I was happy with the winner, although that lip sync was far from legendary. For the final fight I had hoped for more personally.

To sum this Season up for me, worst Season in Drag Race history. Just crap, nothing exciting, and Ben won the whole thing and walked away at the right time to get away from it all. Some fun moments but otherwise a massive dud of a run that brought the most predictable winner once Ben left. And I personally don't get the popularity of the winning queen, but apparently lots of people love her so ya'll do you. Bring on Season 10.

Great result. But the two who should have been the top two were clear so i was disappointed only one of them made it.

{Spoiler - click to view} I have only just seen a video making the voting clear. Kennedy got 8 points, Trixie got 7, Bebe got 2 and poor Shangela got 1.

What a dreadful song to use as the final lip sync.

The final lip sync was ummmm very underwhelming? Cannot believe the whole show was spent leading up to a wrecking ball lip sync...

I still don't get why Kennedy decided to do it all through interpretive dance rather than say lip-syncing. I know she needed to take off her shoes to do the dance - but was an odd choice to compete for the crown without heels on.
Odd choices from Kennedy. It is almost as if she really didn't think she could win.

I'm marginally disappointed by the result but not as much as I would've been with two of the others. I do agree it was a weak season overall though. An awful lot of coasting. If I was making a highlights show from Drag Race as a whole, I can't think of much that I'd include from this season.

The highlights are pretty much all Dela
Her Julie Andrews Her Snatch Game Her Decision to Leave
It will be remembered as the BendelaCreme show - which is a shame for Trixie who did show she has more Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent than people expected.
If it had have been Shangela v Trixie in the final two, I suspect Shangela would have won - but I still think she ranks lower than Trixie in terms of Uniqueness. She is a good Drag Queen - but there is nothing terrible unique about her act or look. She is more polished than she was first time round. She has talent. But she is very mainstream. Trixie treads her own path and I salute her for that.

It is almost as if she really didn't think she could win. Interpretive daaaaaance is my bête noire. I reckon she thought she was showing her versatility but it just looked pretentious and wrong. Also, although Kennedy can dance, much of her production number routine looked very much like a bloke in drag. Slightly bow legged and very inelegant landings from her cartwheels etc. Shangela was very successfully channeling Beyoncé and Trixie did comedic dance. Bebe did... well, Bebe did Bebe 🙄

Not once in this season did I get the impression that Kennedy loves what she does. I know it is all in the edit but I never saw that she enjoyed doing drag. If the performer isn't enjoying it, it is so much harder for an audience to enjoy it.
I can't imagine wanting to go to a Kennedy gig but I would consider any of the other finalists. And certainly a Bendela show would be a must.

That was a terrible way to end All Stars 3. It was a show about talent and who was the best of the season. Kennedy didn't win a single challenge and gets through to the final 2 because she's been doing it a long time and isn't as popular as other queens. Her resting bitch face doesn't help.
Was bringing back the eliminated queens meant to be dramatic or cause drama? All it did was give a sympathy vote to someone who really needs to change her act after all these years.
I wasn't Shangelas biggest fan but she was robbed of the title. She has grown so much since her first time on the show and deserved it. Well, after BenDela left anyhow.
If Kennedy had won, did she really believe that the title would maake audiences like her more? Nope, it would have made people resentful that she won!!

I thought Trixie was a deserved winner. Both her and Shsngela were.

I think the trouble is All Stars has usually been an event that cropped up every few years. Unfortunately season 8, 9 and 10 of the regular format and season 2 and 3 of All Stars have been pretty much back to back. Unless you have a rest then eventually something creatively has to give, and I think AS3 was the casualty of that. They’ve put a lot of effort into revamping the look of season 10 so pervasive d they dropped the ball here.
I liken it to the wave of success Rihanna had after her Good Girl Gone Bad era. She followed it up with three albums almost in immediate succession of each other and it was clear by Unapologetic the juices were drying up.

I thought Trixie was a deserved winner. Both her and Shsngela were. I agree but I think it took the shine off her win that she wasn’t in the top 2 with Shangie though. I bet she feels the same too. Especially with BDLC leaving too. It will always be a case of “oh she only won because...” which I suspect was Dela’s intention. The cow!

I think it will be the year we all remember as the one where the winner walked away with four wins, the most memorable moments and the oppertunity to forever taint the eventual winner with the "she only won because Ben walked". And good for her, Ben should of and most likey would of won had she stayed. Of the four in the top, I would of preferred Shangie to win. I just don't get the hype over Trixie, everyone loves her but I jut don't get it. Nice person, bad makeup, she is a perfectly average queen to me. But congrats girl!

Bebe truly is a one trick pony though isn’t she? I do sort of admire that unshakeable belief in ones own fabulousness though. Shangela Trixie Kennedy Bebe But I’d rather Trixie win. “Cameroooooon!”
