Loving Greg and Natalie (saw her show with Ian. She is a goddess!) Also Claudia and the new pro look great, as do Will and Karen, Ore and Joanne and Janette and Melvin(?) (sorry, too many names!)
The judgey bloke seemed hilarious as did the Eastenders girl, though I don't know either. I absolutely hated that ridiculous space nonsense waste of time at the beginning - I hope they're not going to do that again this year before each dance instead of letting us see their training. It's so cringy.
Loved Claudia's long jumper.

As anthony also said, this sees me all through the autumn months (hoping Burly trick or treats our house as I've a rather nice gourd and thingamywhatsit to give him) right up to Christmas. Always good to see so many gorgeous, attractive, lovely and super-talented people in one place at the same time. Whatever my mood, this show always makes me smile from (h)ear to (h)ear!

He may well be but I hope for his sake that he lasts a few weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong here but when the come back and all perform the first dance (nerves out of the way) they get scored but no one leaves right? Those scores then get carried across to the next week where they then start to get eliminated. I'm sure you're right if memory serves. I think they each do one Latin and one ballroom before anyone goes. (Please, please may Ed be released before the rhumba?)

I do wonder what sort of salary the celebrities are being paid during their appearance on Strictly.

I do wonder what sort of salary the celebrities are being paid during their appearance on Strictly. I know that the fee isn't a flat fee, it varies from person to person. And the fee is related to how long you stay in the show, so if you leave week one or two you'll get significantly less than if you're a finalist. I did a Strictly themed cruise last year and was in Strictly Heaven! We had six dancers on board, who performed several shows in the theatre, Arlene, Russell Grant, one of the costume makers and one of the producers. All were happy to chat around the ship, and all were happy to pose for photographs with or without us in. With only one small exception (not a pro dancer) all were lovely. There were fashion shows and question and answer sessions with everyone too, hosted by the ship's Entertainment Director. These proved to be fascinating and very revealing. One of the questions put to the costume maker was about the biggest challenges she faces. She explained that there were many, including the expected change down in size for all the celebrities. Each has their own costume dummy made at the beginning of the show, and it can be made smaller and smaller as the weeks go by. Then she said that the BIGGEST challenge had been to conceal a male celebrity's oversized member! She said that to do so they had made it its own "hammock" (her word not mine...) and that she was thankful that he had only done ballroom (hence baggier trousers) before he got voted off! When I caught her on her own, I asked who it was. (I wonder how many times she was asked that question... Probably just the once.) She refused to name him, but gave clues: he was an older celebrity, and he was voted off early. I did Google and think I found the answer...

Tee hee! Who do you think it is? (I don't know for certain, it's only a theory, but it's one shared by some of the friends I told!)

We're in the right area...
(But remember, John S was in it for ages. In fact, he walked as he said he thought it was unfair to those who could actually master the dances!)

Ahhh! But that was Jeremy Kyle. He's never been in the show... Jeremy Vine was, but he's not a contender for this as the talk I attended was prior to his involvement!

Rather coincidental... Just switched the TV on, and he's staring at me from the box! (So to speak.)

This must have been before my time because I've never heard of this person.
It's at times like this you become incredibly aware that you're the foreigner.
