Ed won't win. My prediction will be that Danny will win.

ED TO WIN.
Wonder if Ed gets through to Blackpool, he's gonna have to quit like John Sergeant from fear of winning!! But Ed loves it too much to quit, I think.
AND I LOVE BALLS!

Yes, Danny is the best dancer but then so he should be being professionally trained. I would prefer a none dancer to win.

Ed was atrocious tonight, that was not a salsa. Still had me laughing out loud though, but not in a good way!
It's Strictly Come Dancing, a decent dancer should win, and much as his ballroom is decent, Ed's Latin is pretty poor (and that's putting it kindly). Danny or Claudia to win for me.

I want Louise and Ore in the dance off now after Joanne's calls of 'undermarked.' Since when has it been a crime to be supportive of your family? For what it's worth I thought Louise was ridiculously over-marked tonight, I thought her dance was really boring. Loved Ore's though - one of the best male Rumbas there's been on Strictly.

I think it's unsportsman-like to outwardly criticise the judges like that when you're still dancing in the competition yourself.

I personally don't have a problem with a trained dancer winning (especially because most of them have had some degree of training). I'd be fine with Danny winning as he's certainly the best, but if people want an untrained dancer, then surely someone like Claudia is a better and more deserving choice than Ed.

It seems the spoiler results are in Quite! Some misleading tweets on Twitter. Here are my opinions on the spoiler: Bottom two - not that surprising. The one sent home - very surprising from the two in the dance off. Maybe there was a mistake made in the dance-off.

{Spoiler - click to view} Urgh. Ridiculous that they finally had a chance to get one of the weak dancers out and got rid of Daisy instead. She is undoubtedly a better dancer than Greg.
6 women out in a row. What a shame. Claudia and Louise better make it to at least the semi-finals now.

Am I the only person here who's bored by the dancing but pays attention in the rest of the programme? I feel that you lot who are all so knowledgeable about the dancing are probably quite unrepresentative of most of the audience.

I feel that you lot who are all so knowledgeable about the dancing are probably quite unrepresentative of most of the audience. I don't quite understand what you mean - take out the dancing and the training footage, which is often showing the dancing (unsurprisingly), there isn't much left to watch. Not sure I'd bother watching a programme if I were bored by the whole premise and point of the show...

The training footage is generally the worst; played for comedy or personality - I'd rather see progress over the week.

Danny & Oti were by far the best last night. Watching it again on YouTube, I think they were slightly under marked and Darcy should've given a 10. I need to congratulate Oti again, she is such an amazing choreographer! Wow! I wonder if she'd ever turn to choreographing a musical one day. Amazingdance by them and they're my favourites still.
I think Louise was overmarked a lot, found the routine a little boring. Claudia was very good, enjoyed that dance.
Ore was good but I hate the rumba, find it so boring. I wish they wouldn't give him a fast dance again like the quickstep or paso doble.
Really want Ed to go. He is funny but good dancers start to go over him which I don't like (same with what happens on X factor). If he gets to Blackpool and then gets through again I think he should just quit as it isn't fair! Who's voting for him? I think it's the producers too. They keep giving him fast and silly songs to dance to! Look at the very first week where he did a waltz I think to a slow song on Waterloo bridge, boring and he would've gone home. Since then they've given him fast dances and silly songs!!! Anyone else agree?
Want Ed to go but I bets its between Greg andDaisy in which case I really hope Greg goes over her.
But I must congratulate the singers for singing a whole song in Korean! They're some amazing singers

Claudia added to my list list of dull dancers. Cute is the word the judges keep using. Hmm. Cute and dull.
Louise threw that routine away last night. Ostrich feathers and an American smooth to Hey Big Spender d she managed to play it down again? Will someone please take this woman to see a good drag act? Or even better, a not so good drag act!

I think Katya is a genius. She's got a great galumping lump like Ed Balls and has turned him into a dance God. You can see he's improving week after week and he can be surprisingly light on his feet with some good technique in amongst the comedy. I think the real gold in that pairing though is the fact that they look like they're having a ball(s) and just want to entertain. She's given Ed a platform to show he's quite a nice bloke who is loving the experience and trying really hard and the fact that he's not afraid in the slightest to play the fool. Also I think people are laughing WITH Ed and not AT him which makes the whole thing so joyous.
I know he's not the best dancer left by a long way and he's not my favourite (that would be Ore) BUT I seriously think Ed winning would be an absolute triumph and I wouldn't begrudge him a single sequin.

The funny one always leaves before the final. The producers have their ways of making it happen.

The funny one always leaves before the final. The producers have their ways of making it happen. Ed is always going to be bottom and as the field gets smaller it'll be harder for him to avoid the dance-off (unless he's topping the vote every week).

Well, maybe now that he's made it to Blackpool, which what he always said he wanted for Katya's sake, he might find it okay to be in the dance-off

Dunno. Sorry. That was an assumption I shouldn't have made.
Grr!
For personal reasons I always hate it when someone makes an assumption.
I'm slapping my hand now caiaphas for my tardiness.

Now I know why Bruno is my favourite judge. Daisy over Greg any day.
I don't even love Louise but if her or Claudia go next week I'm gonna go maaaad. A man PLEASE.

I know I've never been a Daisy fan, but their previous dances non-withstanding, I will thoroughly stand by my feeling that Greg out-danced Daisy in that dance-off alone, and really that's what it comes down to.
Anyhow, I always found Daisy a slightly bland dancer, and she always looked like she was marking her dances, never really going full out. Greg at least injected a little bit of character to the different dances we was doing, and could never be criticised for not putting his all into it, so I'm not too upset by the result at all!
And at the end of the day, it's all about entertainment isn't it, so what does it really matter!! I'm being entertained for sure.

Daisy should've stayed in over Greg.
Will be VERY surprised if it isn't Greg and Ed in the dance off next week
