I'm surprised he's only 28. Link is supposed to be a teenager, that would be a huge stretch.

Started watching too early on record - now got nothing to do while EP is whining...... Julie Covington has a lot to answer for.

Not a bad show,
It's a shame for Judge Rinder.
I don't know what was wrong with Elaine Paige. At first I thought the music may have been too fast and she came in too late, then she kinda spoke-sung (aka Rex Harrison). (I think maybe) it's beyond her now.
I liked the colour combination for Ore's costume as Willy Wonka- the purple, yellow and green combination. And there was sole lovely piano playing coming though.
Bring on next week!

It's a shame they have to wheel out EP for the musicals when there are so many younger fabulous performers around who could have knocked a number out of the park. It just shows no-one from musical theatre is considered "famous enough".

Or maybe the BBC is promoting her Radio 2 show?
Break a leg, Miss Paige.
Huh-huh-huh-hee [falsely]

It because she's promoting here new Radio 2 CD isn't it? She was on Sunday Brunch last week.
Speaking of Sunday Bruch, Ed turned up as a special guest star turning on their christmas lights.

Then the Im a Celeb final!! Ah, we've discussed this previously george22 Enjoy! I'm not watching it either (I've seen some baffling headlines in tabloids I don't read - has Larry Lamb been mean to someone?), but I love George's enthusiasm. Double-enjoy! I was a bit 'meh' about this week's Strictly show, but rewatched a couple of numbers and liked it more. After her Argentinian Tango, I think this Calamity Jane number was Louise's best dance and really suited her personality. Quite liked everyone, but Danny and Ore weren't as absolutely accurate as they've been other times, but still great.Think the right person left. Last night's opening number was insane (my daughter said Craig looked like he was in a hostage situation at times - I think it was the 'help me' look in his eyes) and Anton's patter bit was hard to understand, but if you went with the nutsiness of it, it was quite winning. Karen was great as Anita in the West Side Story number. The All That Jazz number tonight was enjoyable and Elaine was interesting. (My husband kept saying, 'What a busy day she's had, first she did her radio show and then rushed over to do this...' We tried to explain they filmed the results show on Saturday, but then, thought 'nah' let him imagine her wildly chortling in a cab whizzing around London.) The second her tv appearance ended she tweeted (someone tweeted) her upcoming concert dates. Maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm not sure all those trips they make to zoos, theatres, Wild West Saloons, etc. really help their performances....;-)

Aw an emotional send off for Rinder and Oksana. Truly have enjoyed his dances (especially that lovely quickstep) and I'm so glad he outlasted Ed. His partnership with Oksana was lovely, you can see they're very fond of each other. Still, it was his time to go.
Unfortunately, I think Claudia has no chance of making the final now. Definitely think she has more public support than Ore but I don't see the judges saving her if those two are in the bottom two. And can't see Danny or Louise being low enough in the leaderboard to be in the dance off this week. It's a shame because all four would be in the final if Will hadn't left.
Hope I'm wrong though! Would love a Danny/Claudia/Ore final personally, but I'm mostly bothered about the former two.

Danny/Louise/Claudia final for me.

Aw I think I got some glitter in my eye at the final dance...loved Rinder throughout for his enthusiasm and genuinely learning (and loving learning) dance. It was the time to go, which he knew as well, but I also feel really pleased that he got that far having not been the 'natural' (or previously trained!) dancers, and I think he earned his place to that point. And he was entertaining as well.
I personally find Claudia a bit 'meh' though it may be also because I'm not keen on her partner. This week for me Louise was my favourite- her and Rinder's were the only two I really wanted to watch again.
So for me Louise/Danny/Ore final and personally I'd love Louise to win- I know Danny is a superb dancer but for me Louise is really good and I've enjoyed watching her learn and grow over the series.

It will be interesting to see who makes the final. I would agree with a Danny/Louise/Ore final. The dance off will definitely be between Ore and Claudia. Cannot see Danny or Louise being in the dance off and if by some chance either of them are the judges will save them.

I'm Team Ore all the way but it's such a shame Robert went last night. He's been an absolute joy and he's what the show should be all about, someone with no previous dance or stage school training learning to dance and he's done it brilliantly. And what a genuinely gracious man when he bowed out. Further proof that we're in for the dullest, blandest final in years. Beige Danny vs Louizzzzze with nary a personality between them. Poor Ore and Claudia to lose to that.

I will say that Louise has definitely been the most consistent. But for me has only performed one standout dance - the Argentine Tango - which I loved at first but now I prefer Danny's and Claudia's.
I loved Ore's American Smooth more than any of Louise's dances which is why I'd want him over her, despite her being more consistently good. I really need the good acting, character and storytelling to make the dance rewatchable for me and Louise just doesn't have it.

I agree snutte- if I'm honest for me it's a tough call between Ore and Louise who I'd like to win. And as much as I know Danny is a talented dancer I just don't enjoy him as much as Ore either.

Another poor week overall, as musicals week often is, since themes and poorly chosen songs overwhelm the dances.
Claudia was fine though not as good as last week so of course she got a better score. Even Danny & Oti couldn't save a Tango to such inappropriate music though they were still better than everyone else. Second week in a row that Louise was barely in hold for a ballroom though at least Len noticed this time. That said Lousie perked up a bit at least, perhaps because she didn't have to dance with Kevin much which would be understandable. Still dull though unfortunately. Ore & Joanne was utterly forgettable and a terrible use of appropriate music not helped by the backing dancers.
The Judge had to go and though I haven't liked him all series I thought he came over well at the end.
So Danny & Claudia for the final please since they are both good dancers and I don't want to throw something at the screen when they are on. They also have the best chance of doing decent showdances. Of the others I can't decide if I prefer dull Louise teamed with hyperactive, over dancing child man Kevin or annoying baby voice Joanne alongside profoundly irritating Ore and his oh we're the bestest of friends now hold on while I cry some more routine.

I agree with Foxa the " am taking you some where we can get the feeling of what we need" rubbish - just pure padding by the Beeb. Also wish they could move Tess Daly far away! I do not know what it is with her but she just grates I am afraid. Let Claudia and say Anton become the compares and have a little bit of fun with them. Some of the musicals were not well thought out musically, more for show I think not dance. One more grumble - why when ever they have a name performing, the dancers get cheered for what ever they do - is it not very rude while someone is singing?? The females in the household recon that Ore goes out first and Claudia goes out second leaving Danny and Louise for the final! I am told what do I know - your a man!!

Yes Louise's free trip to Paris was a new low. I mean she might've been going there anyway but it seemed a real waste of time.

I'm Louise, Danny and Claudia for the final and I want Louise to win. Not only because she is my favourite, it also means I win the work sweepstake.

Danny, Ore and Claudia final would be ideal for me. I'd be happy with either Ore or Danny winning, but Danny is my favourite and I think deserves it most.
