I quite liked the NT Antony& Cleopatra with Helen Mirren Ha ha, you said that to provoke me? Or am I flattering myself? Anyway, fun to remember. No genuinely, I quite enjoyed it and then couldn't see after what all the fuss was about when everyone else hated it. Maybe because it is just about my least favourite Shakespeare play I have dramatically low expectations for it. Trevor Nunn said (probably defensively) it was disappointing rather than a disaster. |

Come on guys the critics were quite positive of Lord of the Rings, Once and I Can't Sing. Yes, I Can't Sing got a clutch of 5-star reviews! It's not that the people who saw it didn't enjoy it, on the whole, it's that the concept was tired and the general public simply not interested in buying tickets for it. Contrast We Will Rock you, which got absolutely panned, and really is nonsensical as a piece of theatre, but offered something that just about everyone with a copy of Queen's Greatest Hits wanted to see - fantastic singers belting out Queen's best songs. |

I Can't Sing. It was actually quite a good show, though the alien bit was a bit WTF, as was the 45 minute interval... Yes, I Can't Sing! was very good. The interval was the usual twenty mins when I saw a late preview. I thought the critics were more mixed, with some quite enjoying it, but probably your memory's better than mine. |

I Can't Sing got a lot of 4 star reviews, I remember being dumb founded when they got published.
We Will Rick You was so terrible it was good.

Rock of Ages and Made In Dagenham are both favourites of mine. I do like Les Mis as well.

I wish I could say Which Witch (which is probably the biggest turkey that I have ever seen) but no, it truly was as bonkers and bad as people said it was. I asked for my money back at the interval of that and was refused. Yes, it was really, really bad. But packed the night I went, with Norwegians who'd flown over to support it. |
