I know I've left this very late but will be in NYC and DC for 11 days from 2nd Sept. I usually just get tickets from TKTS in person. Does anyone have advice or tips? Discounts/ticket sites etc.
On my wish list are Color Purple, Waitress, The Humans, Fiddler, Something Rotten, Fun Home, Cagney but am open to recommendations.
I realise some of the shows will be impossible to get.

Can't speak for the other shows, but I was able to get Color Purple and Fun Home on TKTS very easily back in June, 50% off.

I can recommend using the TodayTix app.
Just looking now & they have tickets for all except Fun Home & Cagney for the coming weekend.

TodayTix is also available in the DC area now.
You can also try Goldstar and Groupon for both.

Fiddler does general rush tickets and back in April you didn't have to queue for ages to get them. My friend got a front orchestra seat for a Wednesday mat.

There's also a new site that a friend of a friend is working on: broadwaycrowdsourced.wordpress.com/It basically takes the place of the old Rush Report on Broadway Spotted which disappeared several months ago. |
