I'm tempted to get one, just so I have it but I'm not sure I'd wear it to the Theatre as I'm quite shy.

Haha. Yeah it's weird I know. I don't mind wearing clothes to make me stand out. Maybe it's the whole Internet thing that's making me a bit wary.

My badge has winged (wung?) its way across the channel to Germany now.
I'm not fazed by a small badge like this. It's not like it's a huge thing that stands out.
In fact I stuck the #keepthesecrets badge from Harry Potter to the strap of my handbag and it's still there - partly because I keep forgetting to take it off, but partly as a memory of a fabulous London trip in July. So I may add this as I tend to use the same light handbag for my travels (not here for daily use).

I have the keep the secrets badge on my backpack that often comes to the theatre with me, mostly so I can show off to everyone that I saw it...

Am I the first to identify a fellow Theatreboard member at a show from their avatar pic? I spotted our andrew (above!) at Children of Eden on Thursday! I didn't speak to him as I wasn't 100% certain, but he revealed he was there in the CoE thread. And we have discussed it.... So- confirmed! anthony... do I get some kind of Special Award or has it already been claimed? (Maybe there are special rules I'm not aware of, like you HAVE to introduce yourself, ask them out for a drink, take them back for a coffee... That sort of thing?)

Lol! Alas, no prize I'm afraid however am so pleased that the benefit of recognition was there because of the revealing of identity via the profile pic.
Introducing yourself is great however social protocol in therms of asking them out for a drink or coffee is up to the individual parties are concerned.
Again, the theme of Theatreboard dating arises.....

so now I will be approaching people a little too closely, peering in the general direction of shoulders and chests, to see if that little spot of blue is a TBoard badge or a splash of pistachio ice cream. Can't wait to meet a fellow badger.

So the challenge now is to find the most inventive places to wear the badge. I'm thinking the back of the knee.

When I get one, I'll make sure to put the photo of where I put it on Instagram.

Can't wait to meet a fellow badger. Oh Lynette I stood in the Olivier yesterday, badge on display, thinking 'I wonder if Lynette is here' but merely spotted Simon Callow, not nearly as exciting.

Sorry I wasn't there! It is going to be funny standing and turning round and thrusting out our lapels as it were.... I'm due in NT soon for the Chekhovs and a second visit to the Threepenny. We'll see....

Yes one will have to get fairly close to spot them, new way to pass the time in the queues for the ladies I guess.

I might order mine today (hopefully it'll arrive in post to my friend's address in London before Monday?). Is it a magnet or pin badge? I wouldn't want to poke a hole in my shirt

I'm afraid all I got was the card. No badge. Sometimes our sophisticated machinery, aka TheatreDust has a blip. I'm sure he will be able to sort that for you loureviews
