The people around me are starstruck at Layton Williams being in the row behind me at Jamie. I don’t think they’ve recognised John McCrea. Sad to hear that. Though I suspect John McCrea is rather pleased.

They did work out that they knew John from Love Island eventually.
More seriously, some people at the other side did know he was.
I likely heard more than I should have done, but yes, I did get the impression he wouldn’t have liked all the attention Layton was getting.

Sat next to Jac Yarrow and Bonnie Langford tonight at Wild About You. Had a little chat with them in the interval when I came over a bit fan boy but they were genuinely friendly and had a nice chat about Pippin and Rachel Tuckers liking for wearing a nightdress on stage.

My first celeb spot at a normal performance (one-off concerts I’ve seen a few each time) - Trevor Dion Nicholas a few rows behind me near the front of the stalls at Enemy of the People last night. I honestly felt more starstruck seeing him there “in real life” than Matt Smith up on the stage! I smiled at him a few times and he smiled back. Really wanted to tell him how much I loved him in N2N and the Side Show concert and looking forward to seeing him again in N2N when it transfers, but I controlled myself - felt like not the done thing when he’s enjoying an evening as a private person? Maybe if he’d actually been next to us.
Plus I’d just slightly ticked off some young lasses in the bar when I overheard them discussing how loud they were going to whoop when Matt Smith came on - they didn’t in the end thank goodness - and they were sat right near us, so I couldn’t drop my public persona of perfect etiquette theatergoer where they could see haha!

I had a near miss with Julian Lloyd Webber on the stairs at the NHS Concert earlier in the week. There again, it’s not the first time I’ve had a near miss with Julian (catch me at the right time and I’ll tell you about the Tesco wine incident) and it probably won’t be the last.

Cool Rider concert tonight and Dame Joan Collins with Jiliet Mills sat 4 seats away in my row. Juliet is married to Maxwell Cauldield who was in the show. Joanie looked bemused throughout.

Marisha Wallace also at Pippin and someone sat in front of me. No idea who they were but at the interval several people stopped them and were quite gushing. I asked a girl who had been talking to them who it was. She gave me a name but I immediately forgot it. Apparently they were in Cabaret. Tall, slim, blonde hair if that helps.

No. I would recognise her.

Mason is definitely here tonight (Tuesday). I saw them on the way in.
Someone else spotted superstar Bonnie Langford, but I couldn’t see her.
I’m at the back of the Dress though, so not in prime star spotting territory. There are a few vaguely familiar looking people on this level, but I can’t immediately give names.

Bonnie is a big pal of Jacs presumably after them both being in Sondheim Old Friends (of course they could have known each other for much longer). She would have been there to jee Jac and Zizi who is her niece. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I sat next to Jac and Bonnie at a recent concert and had a lovely chat with them. I was a bit gushing but they were very polite. Told Jac I was coming to see him in Pippin and we then had a strange conversation about Rachel Tucker wearing night dresses and Bonnie and I agreeing that they must be very "comfy".
