I went to a Eurovision Semi Final afternoon dress rehearsal last month and Graham Norton (who only hosted the main final) watched the whole thing from the contestant area with a coffee in hand. Watched him wave along to Loreen, jump up and down for Cha Cha Cha. It was like a strange version of Gogglebox.

When I was at Brokeback Mountain last night Tom Holland and Zendaya where in the audience. Tom had a meeting with Mike Faist afterwards over an upcoming film project apparently. Mike and Lucas came put briefly to sign programmes before going back in to see Tom. They were both really lovely, polite and grateful for our comments.

Tom Conti was at the National last night. I'm guessing for the Motive and the Cue rather than Dear England (especially given his much publicised run-in with his then neighbour Thierry Henry over planning permission!). Anyway it got me thinking about how he is known for different things among different generations. For me his is the Oscar nominated star in Reuben Reuben while for my kids he is the judge in Paddington.

Susan Stroman snuck into the seat behind me at the interval of "Crazy for you" yesterday afternoon.

Tessa Thompson was at Romeo and Juliet at the Almeida on Friday. So were the young actors from Ted Lasso who play Roy Kent's niece and Ted's son - they had a cute moment with Toheeb after the show.

Alan Carr at Groundhog Day. Well he was in Penny's before the show anyway. I always remember half of his stand up routines had a rant about not disliking and not understanding musicals!

Saw Matthew Bourne and Etta Murfitt this afternoon at his version of Romeo and Juliet. I know he keeps a close eye on his shows, even when they’re touring, but this is the first time I’ve actually seen him.

Wes Anderson was at the National last night, first browsing in the bookshop (as I stood chatting to a friend and nearly spit my wine when I saw him) and spotted him again at the interval. I was there for Dear England and he for the Motive. Imagine going to the theatre and ending up sitting next to him.

Have to admit that I needed to Google him but I'm still none the wiser, but then I rarely go to the cinema.

Have to admit that I needed to Google him but I'm still none the wiser, but then I rarely go to the cinema. Me too. I had a very clear picture of him in my head because he is in the cover of the latest Sight and Sound (which is on display in my place of work) otherwise his face isn't that recognisable esp if you don't go to the cinema- he also happened to be dressed in his usual style so he was really easy to spot!
