Not in the theatre but this was so unusual I had to mention it.
I'm currently crossing the Atlantic on the Queen Mary and Harriet Walter is also on board. A few tables down from me in the restaurant.

Department of Coincidence: I happened to look at this thread while taking a short break from reading her book, Brutus and Other Heroines. If you chance to have a shipboard conversation with her, please let her know I’m enjoying the book. (I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to hear it.)

Was at the Bridge Theatre this afternoon for A Midsummer Night's Dream and can't make my mind up whether or not a young lad I saw there was Timothee Chalamet.

Vanessa Redgrave was sat right behind me for the end of history at the Royal Court yesterday, and Joely Richardson was three rows in front!
The man next to Ms Redgrave was on his phone before the play started; she turned to him and said, 'I hope you're going to turn that thing off.'
I now admire her even more!

The ship was a bit Hi Di Hi on sea. Happy to give more details if people are interested.

Zandra Rhodes at tonight's Prom concert. Unmistakable with her lurid, not-quite-pink-more-pop-art-cranberry coloured hair.

Su Pollard!!! at the Turbine yesterday for Torch Song.
She was clearly aiming to keep a low profile so was wearing an understated ensemble of a bright red crocheted top and fishnet stockings, and carrying a handbag made out of a hollowed-out dalmatian.

I do love her! I saw her in the tube a few months ago, and that time her handbag was a red London bus😊

I was sitting next to Marc Almond in the front row at 42nd Street last year and it was so noticeable that some of the cast were staring at him - made me feel a tad uncomfortable and not knowing where to look! He was lovely and said it was a return visit to the show - he loved it. Judge Rinder was sitting in front of me at Hamilton a few months ago too. I've yet to attract an A-Lister - although I was star-struck at Marc - blush.

Pop in to Above the Stag sometimes, she’s always in there. I believe she’s a patron.

I think it was Alec Baldwin that I saw at the interval in Sea Wall/A Life when I saw it at the Hudson Theatre on Saturday but don’t shoot me down in flames if you know for a fact he was shooting an advert for a bookies in Peckham that weekend.

I am so pleased to have finally recognised someone at the theatre given that I have a history of sitting in close proximity to
Cameron Mackintosh Stephen Sondheim Maxine Peake David Tennant
and a few others and not had a damn clue.
So at The Weatherman I was next to Marc Elliott, Isaac from Holby to me, but I understand also from Eastenders and numerous theatre shows. And very lovely he was too.

Weirdly, I would recognise everybody in missthelma 's post... except Marc Elliott... I’d only recognise him as the ex-boyfriend of my flatmate..

Rob Brydon with his wife and two young kids at Peter Pan yesterday. Lovely family and they weren't pestered by anyone which was very nice to see.

Didn't see them but apparently both Pet Shop Boys were in the audience for Musik last night. Also there (and I did see him) was Graham Seed, AKA the late Nigel Pargetter from The Archers. Which is ironic given what happened after the Pet Shop Boys played Lower Loxley a few years back.
