Toby Stephens at the matinee of Albion He's doing one of the book readings at the Printroom in Notting Hill next month - they have a great line up for them. A few weeks ago they had Toby Jones, Hello to Jason Isaacs and that young Fox boy. |

Is Lloyd Grossman still a “celebrity”? I wasn’t going to mention seeing him at The Arcola last Friday night, but now he’s stalking me. 3 days after the first time I’ve ever seen him, he turns up at a Charity Fair I’m helping at in the Guildhall. A coincidence you say? Just how naïve are you?
I much preferred it back when my stalker was Sophie Ellis Bextor. At least she only showed her face in the theatre, where I could feel safe amongst the crowd.

A Kinnock family outing at Labour of Love last night - Neil, Glenys, Stephen and Helle Thorning-Scmidt. Andy Serkis and Maureen Lipman also in the audience. Would have liked to hear the chat in the interval! |

I don't think this counts, but many years ago I was at the Adelphi for Me and My Girl. The National Anthem started to play and in trooped the Queen Mother. It was her birthday.I didn't manage to get a piece of cake though!

Ben Kingsley at The Secret Theatre at the SWP tonight. Dave Hill (the actor not the guitarist from Slade!) at Young Marx this afternoon. Have to confess although I recognised him straight away I didn't actually know his name!

Just before Christmas I met a friend at the NT (I wasn't watching a show) and saw Bill Oddie sitting with friends at one table and on the neighbouring table was Jeremy Paxman and his mates. Paxman seemed a bit bemused/unnerved by my stalker-like stare (I was only staring because I didn't recognise him at first, and it took me a while to work out who he was and whether or not
he was an acquaintance of mine).

I nearly got run over by him once when I was a teenager (my fault as I was not looking when crossing the road). We either have the same taste in music or he’s stalking me. |
