Lenny had cheered up slightly when I saw him. He was chatting to a woman when I saw him. When she turned around, I realised that it was Suranne Jones. Then he was chatting to Fisayo Akinade later. Also spotted Daniel Kitson eating an ice-cream during the AiA interval. Not with Lenny Henry.

Just seen Celia Imrie at Ink. She was wearing very fetching silver/black glittery trainers.

I was Winter and she was wearing a full length fur coat struggling to manoeuvre a roller board down the escalator to the tube at Waterloo station. Many (many) years back I was with my flatmate and we got on the Underground at Angel with Stockard Channing who, at the time, was starring in a play at The Almedia. Were were in the same vestibule area of the carriage wearing sunglasses.

Well I can't top that but I was sitting at the next table to him in a restaurant a few years back in Burnham Market ( Norfolk ) when he switched on the Christmas lights there....
But now with my bright red lips who knows....

Not sure whether to be impressed that a restaurant hires a known "name" to switch on their Christmas lights, or feel slightly sorry for Mr Dennis that it's the best "switch on the lights" invite he could get? To be fair to Mr D he was switching on the lights for the whole of Burnham Market ( I know you're impressed ! ) rather than just the restaurant in the village.
Not quite Oxford Street I know but hey....

^And Burnham Market is, IMO, considerably more attractive as a location than Oxford Street. It also has a very good secondhand bookshop.

It also has a very good secondhand bookshop Does that decorate with lights at Christmas? Maybe they could go in halves with the restaurant and get Les to switch theirs on too . I've only visited Burnham Market in the spring & summer so can't answer that one. I'm not sure there would be much room for lights with all the books though. It's one of those Tardis-like bookshops that looks small from the outside then the books just keep going when you get inside. (Damn it, I now really want to visit it again!)
