I saw a famous actress walking up Charing Cross road yesterday and can I for the life of me place her...no! it's really annoying me.
She was a British actress, probably in her 60s, short reddish brown hair. Possibly very BBC type....
This has been a useless update.

I had that experience Sunday night. Definitely saw a not-that-famous but recognisable actress at Songs and Solidarity, but can't for the life of me remember her name or what I've seen her in. Couldn't describe her well enough for anyone else to guess. So, yeah, this is an utterly pointless post...

Prince Charles is the Patron of WNO and the President of the RSC, so both visits were routine. You really are on a mansplaining mission this week dear aren't you? We are a) not stupid b) have access to google c) again WORKED FOR THE GODAMN COMPANY.
Doesn't mean it's not interesting/entertaing to comment of ole Charlie rocking up. Also this is thread on FAMOUS PEOPLE IN THE AUDIENCE I reckon the Prince of Wales counts in this game.

This has been a useless update. Some weeks ago now when I was waiting outside the London Palladium to go in to the TV recording I saw a man over the road walking by. I too knew he was famous but couldn't put a name to him. Pointing him out to fellow queuers we identified him as Rick Wakeman.

This has been a useless update. Una Stubbs? Nah I'd be all over Queen Una. Not Zoe Wanamaker either. Or Anita Dobson. I want to say she does have a name beginning with 'A' though....

Mel Giedroyc was at the Ferryman as well, or at least she walked past me all dressed up just outside the theatre the other night.

By all accounts she is one of the nicest people on TV. d'James and samuelwhiskers did you catch her on recent season of Taskmaster? She was absolutely hilarious.

(I've missed a couple of one-off stage things though.) She was fab in Cinderella. She's the reason I watched Bake Off in the first place.

Hadley Frasier in the Donmar audience this afternoon. He may have caught me looking as I wasn't 100% sure it was him at first!

Studly Fraser was at Committee on Thursday evening. With a moustache and writing notes. He saw me staring. I didn't care.

Nick Payne and Sara Kestelman at Gloria at the Hampstead tonight. Had my friend timed things better, he would have been urinating next to Mr Payne in the non-gender-neutralised facilities.
