I believe that I have just squeezed past Wallace Shawn, Stephen Dillane and his wife from the Talk House play to get to my seat at The Master Builder tonight. Stephen Dillane touched me up as I brushed past.*
*One of these statements may be untrue.

I was at Hamilton when Amy Schumer was there. We had won lotto (front row, way off to the right), so she was off to the side with her entourage ready to go backstage when we were exiting.
Also saw Pat Sajak (!) and Reba McEntire at Mormon; two different performances about a year apart.

Prince Andrei Bolkonsky in attendance at "The Dazzle" tonight. One can infer that his recent ill-treatment by Natasha Rostova is responsible for his appearance in London, Found111 mirroring the Russian Winter climate. He was seated next to David Walliams, so can we deduce that he will be treating us to a display of his musket skills on the next series of Britain's Got Talent? My niece tried to tell me it was actually the actor, James Norton, who was so good as the chain-smoking Captain Stanhope in the recent revival of "Journey's End," but I started to get crazy-eye, so she reassured me it was Bolkonsky, and that Bolkonsky is definitely a real person.

Rory Kinnear held the door open for me at Wonder.Land tonight. I was very cool. Were you both leaving early ?? Ha! On the way in, alas. I think he was actually holding the door open for his partner but my usual impatience with people who walk too slowly meant I'd scuttled ahead of her. They were both looking rather attractive.

I don't think I ever did get to see Alan Rickman in a theatre audience, but he did sit in the row behind me (with Juliet Stevenson) at the NFT at the premiere of "Truly Madly Deeply" - then still called "Cello". However, at the time I was very much in my Michael Maloney phase, so was much more excited about seeing him. I don't even want to think about how many years ago that was...

I walked past him outside Matilda a couple of years ago (he was going in the opposite direction from me) and had to move out of the way lest I drop dead in the middle of the path!

Helena Bonham Carter at Donmar last night, she asked an elderly gentleman sat in the bar area if the space next to him was free, he replied in the negative, when his wife returned from the toilet he explained that he'd had a hard job keeping her seat as Helena Bonham Carter wanted it, 'Cheek!' was her one word reply. I assume she was not a fan ;O)

Pet Shop Boys at Funny Girl last night. In baseball caps and with their synths in tow? Blimey, they'd have to have bought at least 3 extra seats! x
