A bunch of the new cast of Star Trek at Harry Potter today. Chris Pine sitting in the audience smiling and being generally attractive certainly got many of the audience members ver excited. Was Zachary Quinto there?

I was at Harry Potter yesterday and saw the Star Trek Guys. I had an aisle seat and tried not to stare every time they walked past

On the HP theme, distinctly not in the theatre but I managed to run into Jamie Parker out and about not once but twice on Sunday. Poor man probably thought I was following him (I really wasn't, I was in search of food)

Aw, bless them. I loved Penny Smith in 'Pippin'. Her impression of Frances Ruffelle was spot on.

Barbara Windsor today at The Play That Goes Wrong. According to the usher they set aside a champagne on ice for her but she never came for it. Oh to live that life...

It's always the ones who are common as muck who go in for that type of treatment isn't it. The late Cilla Black being another example. Anyone with a smidge of class wouldn't be trolling round the west end demanding champagne to be put on ice for them. Cringe.

I saw one of those Complete Works of Shakespeare in an hour shows a couple of years ago, and they had a table reserved for David Tennant with champagne and crisps laid on. But it turned out it was for a running gag in the show.
I wonder if he ever knew about it, and what would have happened if he'd ever shown up!

Bertie Carvel appears to be my new celebrity theatre stalker (it used to be someone from Eastenders I'd see everywhere, so I'm considering this an upgrade). Saw him in the bar at King Lear in Northampton last night, though not in the auditorium so he must have had far better seats than my upper circle ones. What? I saw him at the same play, same theatre, last week! His girlfriend, Sally Scott, played Regan in the play. I suspect that he saw it quite a few times at the various venues that it was touring.

I can finally post in this thread (not saying there haven't been famous people in the same audiences as me, I'm probably just not very observant).
Barbara Windsor and Hugh Dennis, with respective families at Show Boat tonight. Babs seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
I resisted the urge to tell her to get out of my pub.

Saw Richard Fleeshman at Groundhog Day on Monday - Matthew Warchus sat a couple of rows in front of me taking notes presumably!
And not strictly theatre, but saw Richard Wilson ("I don't beliiiiiieve it") sat outside a coffee shop in Hampstead as I was walking to the cinema to see the new Bourne film on Tuesday!
