Very tempted by this. Nick Mohammed is always good value and I've been to a few of David Elms 'Describes A Room' improv shows, he's fantastic.

I'm booked to see Mr Swallow's Show Pony tour next spring, but I reckon this will be great too.

This is on seat filling sites already. I'm a bit surprised by that.

This is on seat filling sites already. I'm a bit surprised by that. It will get good word of mouth but needs people through the doors early on in the run to ensure that. Iβm sure discounted seats in November was part of the business model all along.

Perhaps this has improved since I saw a previous iteration two years ago, when I tried to see as many Christmas Carols as possible in one season lol. I got to five, and ranked this fifth, and 3 stars, as while the comic songs made me laugh, the rest of the show (most of it) only got smiles rather than laughs out of me: theatreboard.co.uk/thread/10172/christmas-carol-ish-soho-theatre

oh, not seen these on the ususal suspects same, haven't seen them. I saw on one of the papering sites but was fully booked, I managed to get a 20 pounds stalls ticket, which was fine. I did not think it was fabulous, then again I'm more into serious plays than this which is more panto-like. I did really enjoy a christmas carol at the old vic, that was magical.

Well that was half hours material that went on for over 2 & 1/2 hours... not sure if it's lost its charm going from the Soho theatre to Soho place. Laughs were few and far between. Songs instantly forgettable, and if they were meant to be humourous, it was lost in the delivery. Glad I didn't pay full price, even at discounted rates felt ripped off.

Press night last night. 2 show stops, including one for over an hour. Serious gremlins at Soho Place.

Soho place really seems to have issues with technical productions.

At times i chuckled along but a lot of the humour didnt work for me. The charming cast work hard but as there is a lot poor quality songs their efforts seemed wasted. some random thoughts ... Nice to see this theatre in a different configuration ...The set would work brilliantly for Sondheim's Road Show

I saw this a few days ago and I would add that, in this configuration, if you're sitting in the front stalls area, then there is no rake at all, which is less than ideal (and not the sort of design feature you'd expect to find in a new theatre....)

went last week.
It was okay. the humour doesn't work for me (I found Kieran Hodgson the funniest tho) but Nick did acrobatsπππ
the thing is, after watching bunches of excruciating alter-theatres, something as silly as this is really a relief for me
