Has anyone heard of this? rhythmandruse.com/It looks like a mix of magic show and a jazz cabaret. It's got some former Punchdrunk performers in it (anyone who saw The Drowned Man or The Burnt City will immediately recognise Stanford/Hades in the blue jacket). Drinks are included, so seems like a good value for a night out! Would be interested in hearing if anyone's gone and what it's like.

Pretty awesome. You’re lead into a dark corridor and told about the evening. Then handed your first cocktail of the night led to a table to be seated The hosts will greet you and a singer will sing 1920s jazz era songs. If you get Naomi Banks you’re in for a treat. Close up magicians will visit your table between songs, along with the staff to take your order between alcoholic and non alcohol drinks. There will be more amazing magical shenanigans from the hosts before the finale after 5 drinks and magicians.
Amazing value for money and lovely atmosphere and people. I couldn’t recommend this enough if you love Jazz and magic. It’s part of the Punch drunk creative team that brought burnt city etc, so you know it will be good.

I managed to see it on the weekend and it's really good fun! You can get very good deals on tickets if you keep your eyes open in the usual places.
The magicians were great, the music was fantastic, the drinks were plentiful and pretty tasty (except the campari at the end... but that's campari's fault, not the show's). There's basically nothing in the way of story, but the hosts do wander around chatting to people in-character. Based on the advertising there's meant to be some secret society underneath it all but none of that is really apparent, but it's not really needed either. The magic and jazz were more than enough to keep me and my group entertained. It's been a long time since I've seen any close-up magic and the tricks were really fun and mindboggling.
