It was announced yesterday that Basel has beaten Geneva to be the host city for the 2025 song contest. The Grand Final is on Saturday 17 May 2025 with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 May.
The BBC being the BBC will have already formed a committee to decide on how it is going to pronounce Basel! Sports reporters went through a phase of pronouncing the local football team as Bahl, though I think they've now reverted to Basel.
