it's the performance dates I'm more interested in. I'd like to book a theatre weekend of Much Ado (TRDL), Elektra (D0Ys), the Producers (MCF) and The Seagull (B). I know all the other run dates, so it's just working out where the crossover is.

Carl Woodward reporting that Emma Corrin (Orlando at the Garrick, Deadpool vs Wolverine, The Crown) will star as Nina in this production, alongside Blanchett. If true, what a great name and pairing - sure to sell out in minutes, if not seconds. Surely too big a cast for the Barbican alone? Probably eyeing West End transfer, NT Live or Broadway. x.com/mrcarl_woodward/status/1840393871559164107

Are we sure this is definitely not going to Wyndham's after? It has the same closing date as Inside No. 9 👀

Dread to think how dear the ticket prices will end up being with that casting...

That's an excellent supporting cast. It’s a solid supporting cast. But it’s also a safe, unsurprising and expected supporting cast. We know what that supporting cast will do. Nice. Just not that exciting

I mean it's very varied with excellent talents in all the key roles - I'm not sure how much more interesting they could have made this?

Yes, it doesn’t seem that strong; especially considering the names & talent they could have attracted because of Cate’s involvement. Priyanga Burford I’ve never seen be more than average to poor. However, Kodi should make a great Konstantin.

Priyanga Burford I’ve never seen be more than average to poor. Olivier nomination just last year for An Enemy Of The People.

I wish I knew in advance of the inevitable ticket bunfight whether there will be any midweek matinées.

Priyanga Burford I’ve never seen be more than average to poor. Olivier nomination just last year for An Enemy Of The People. Which was an absolutely baffling nomination. But then, Oliviers…

Emma Corrin - generally the same performance Kodi Smit-McPhee - generally the same performance Paul Higgins - generally the same performance Priyanga Burford - generally the same performance Zachary Hart - generally the same performance Tanya Reynolds - generally the same performance
Jason Watkins has had some variety in his roles
It’s a talented bunch. It’s just not an exciting or overly interesting bunch

Disagree with the above on almost every actor but to each their own!

Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jason Watkins is enough for me to book. I know Jason Watkins has done theatre before but it's been a while and he's always good.

This cast is sensational. I’m now even more anxious about getting tickets! I'm prioritising The Seagull over Much Ado About Nothing because I think the latter may be a tad easier to get tickets due to the size of Drury Lane.

Does anyone know if there’s a ticket limit for this?
