Don't be nervous, bringing this over is a no-brainer!

I suppose this was the statement we were waiting for post-Tonys. I believe it was planned since the start to come over with its British-American characters and the Tony wins have set it finally in motion.
Time for theatre predictions!

This was always coming to London. Just my instincts, with its characters and content, it would be a obvious. The Noel Coward Theatre would be perfect. I think it will go into the Harold Pinter or the Duke of York's. Probably the Duke and have a run of 12 to 24 months.

Sonia Friedman producing doesn't mean it'll automatically go to an ATG theatre.
I think the Trafalgar Theatre would work really well or the Wyndham's

The brilliant Tony Award winning best play is heading our way. Opening next year..! With the original cast or a new British cast? I could see this at the Noel Coward or possibly the Pinter.

It's Sonia Friedman so yes - the Pinter would make loads of sense, but failing that the Duke of York's, Wyndham's or Noel Coward are the most likely, given the size requirement and where she usually works.

Opening at the Royal Court first. Do we know where it's going in the West End?

Opening at the Royal Court first. Wow didn't expect that. What a coup for them- announced soon I imagine?

Great stuff. Took them long enough to start moving it along.
If this is going to the Royal Court, should I become a Friend? Don't know how quickly this will be selling out.

There must be an announcement coming fairly soon if it's going to the Royal Court first.

Yay! Tried to rush this on Broadway recently, but the queue was so long we weren't able to get tickets.

Hmmm I don’t think it is going to the royal court first. The stage is very narrow there.

I cracked this joke in another thread but I think it bears repetition:
How long after this opens before people walk out complaining that it's not a jukebox musical about a band from Cwmaman?
