I haven’t been watching closely. Sarah Hadland, I.thought it was Toyah. The wig, the dance. Absolutely awful. The wig was totally channeling Toyah. The dance was a bit frenetic. I did well up at the end of Chris and Dianne. I loved the choreo of the paso. Just hated the outfits. Team MoJo took a while to get going. Bit it was joyous by the end. Pete was thrown under a bus this evening. He isn't ready for a Rumba

Carousel is one of my favourite scores but I detest that schmaltzy waltz version of You'll Never Walk Alone, and it's been done to death on every bloody reality show by anyone from within a hundred miles of Liverpool for decades. Put it out to pasture please! Unsurprisingly it kinda put me off Chris and Diane's dance. Wynne was completely out of time on in several places, and those yellow socks and too short trousers just highlighted his dodgy footwork. How that merited nines is beyond ridiculous. Sarah's wig was in tribute to Rafaella Carra's seventies look, who sang the song originally, though they would've been better going with the Italian version. Even with Vito's white trousers distracting it was one of the better performances tonight. That grim Oasis song doesn't bring sensuality and passion to anyone's mind, so Pete and Jowita didn't stand much of a chance with that rumba. Team Mojo was the highlight of the night, though the ending was a bit anticlimactic. I thought the Paso costumes looked great but did make Jamie look very pale and skinny. Maybe he needs to go for a spraytan with Nikita.

I assume Wynnes marks were a response to all that stuff last week as he didn't earn them that dance.

Why does the BBC insist on calling Punam “Dr Punam” all the time? Ok she’s a doctor, but so what?

Montell and Johannes were the dance of the night for me. It’s so lovely to see couples choice routines this year with more meaning (see also the Bollywood routine) - much more deserving of the 10s than Jamie. It seems to me that the judges have already decided they want him to win for some reason!

Jamies outfit was hideous but it is the performance that I enjoyed the most.

Been waiting for that SEB song to come out for weeks (it’s much better on the recording). JB looks like he has a full nappy on under those ridiculous trousers…yet again working against the dance he has to do…someone have a word…I know it’s a homage to Outcasts outfits from the time but seriously 😟

Am I seeing something completely different to everyone else, or is Jamie 100% being pushed by the producers? He’s definitely one of the stronger males, but they act every week like he’s the one to beat.
They were also definitely overcompensating with their comments to Wynne, all mentioning how much of a lovely man he is.
Poonam was over scored, so was Shane tbh, I thought he didn’t possess a dominant male character in a paso at all.
Sam very much over scored too, she was noticeably bad.

Sam had so many errors. So many.
And the footwork was poor throughout.

Agree about Jamie, he is good but the judges seem to be over hyping him. They are also inconsistent, they say he’s the best but give him lower scores like a few weeks ago. I thought Montell and Johannes were very good again this week, perfect partnership.

Hoping lovely Amy is ok.
Halloween was definitely stolen by Craig and Anton…followed closely by Carlos!

I think this week was a bit too much style over substance. Too much concentration on the characters rather than the actual dances - both from the couples and the judges/ comments.

Icons week is too soon after Halloween.
I feel like I am the only one who didn't like Sarah and Vito - she spent half the dance just being lifted about.
I read that Amy is okay, she was just being cautious (thank goodness)

Icons-week will feature a pro dance to Beyoncé led by Johannes -I feel like the whole 'Johannes can dance amazing on high heels' has been overdone a bit.
