Three things I'd like to see in the UK that have been/are on elsewhere that haven't made it here yet: Hercules, Sing Street, and Anastasia. Hercules was shredded at Paper Mill Playhouse and the German production is getting lukewarm feedback at most - and that's really saying something, coming from a very undemanding audience that eats up all sorts of nonsense. So I think once it closes in Hamburg, it'll be the end of the road for something that just didn't really work. Anastasia would deserve a run, yes, I enjoyed it surprisingly much in the Netherlands and I definitely hope that Sing Street will turn up sometime - maybe via Dublin? I love the film too much to care! If I hadn't had professional exams whilst it was in NY, or if I spoke German, I would have made a trip to see it. I just couldn't fit Anastasia in on my last trip to NY. My Fair Lady and Frozen took precedence. In hindsight, I could have waited until they came here- and have seen them both here too, MFL twice.

...try 50 I personally think THIS is the perfect time to bring Beetlejuice over with the new movie coming in autumn and stirring fresh buzz around the IP and it could possibly fill a barn like TRDL for a year or so. PLEASE.
I'd really like to see it with my family, as usually I'm the only show person in this household; but they're all obsessed with it.
It just won an audience choice award in America for the national tour, I believe. There's a significant younger UK audience that really want it, and badly, as well as an older audience familiar with the film. That's the audience that'll sell a place like that, price-permitting.

Mary Jane by Amy Herzog would be good to see either at the National or in the West End.

In light of recent events, replace the TRDL in that wish with the GL... even for a limited run...
Thinking with a week past, I'd love for Machinal to live on, possibly somewhere smaller once it is done. The Old Vic is quite a big place, and it felt less intimate as a result. I wonder if Twelfth Night could be adapted to an indoor space as well. On the topic of Regent's Park, the return of La Cage Aux Folles would be fun.
But really, I'd like some more comedies... It feels quite dour right now out in the world!

A transfer/return of the Regent's Park "La Cage" is exactly what I need in my life. I remember there being mumbles about it... but there are always mumbles about everything.

I’m going to throw in the Union’s Betty Blue Eyes. I know it’s not going to happen but it was a lovely production that sold out almost every night and I’d have loved to see it play at Southwark or somewhere similar.

Yes please! Beetlejuice would be amazing. I loved seeing it on Broadway but unfortunately it was after Sophie Anne Caruso had left.

I saw it on Broadway too and thought it was really great, this upcoming sequel only proves that there’s still ‘hype’ surrounding the name. It’s been rumoured for a while, and I see it doing quite well with a limited autumnal season at some point. As long as tickets aren’t too extortionately priced!

Dead on arrival - did not review great at all so the producers backed out. Shame, it was excellent. I agree. It was my first time doing so but I'm pleased I caught the train out there to see it. (in my opinion) that was the best Sam Byck I've ever seen!

Could we have Fun Home back, please and thank you. I went in blind and it was possibly one of the most emotionally moving piece of musical theatre I have seen in a long time. I never forgot it. That and the Donmar's production of Parade.

I was very surprised and somewhat shocked when I saw it was being transferred to Australia before coming to the West End!
