Great stuff from Todd Boyce in Richmond this evening. His serial killer storyline as Uncle Stephen was by far the best thing about Iain Macleod’s calamitous tenure as producer and once again Boyce (playing Andrew Wyke) has delivered a wonderfully camp, albeit slightly less murderous, performance.
It’s short enough to be compelling and Anthony Shaffer’s dialogue flows with ease. Alongside Boyce is Neil McDermott, a fellow former soap star, and he was solid as Milo Tindle, although I did feel the role required a little more nuance in its execution.
Four stars.

Saw it in Dartford last week after having seen the original production in London over 50 years ago.

I'm seeing it in Richmond tonight. Doesn't look to have sold very well. Think they've taken the upper circle off sale and still loads of tickets left in the sstalls and dress circle
