The opening production sees global star of stage and screen Ralph Fiennes playing the legendary actor Henry Irving in the world premiere of David Hare's new play, Grace Pervades.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, Grace Pervades tells the extraordinary story of Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, the greatest stars of the Victorian stage, and Ellen's troubled and brilliant children - Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig - who made their own profound contribution to the development of British theatre.
The season continues with William Shakespeare's timeless comedy, directed by Ralph Fiennes, starring Olivier Award winner Dame Harriet Walter as Jaques and one of the hottest young stars of stage and screen, Gloria Obianyo as Rosalind.

Worth pointing out that this is summer 2025! Exciting news, though.

Is there more to be announced? Yes, a couple more things - but they've got ages!

Worth pointing out that this is summer 2025! Exciting news, though. The announcement could be for 2035 and I’d still be super excited. I could argue Bath might now be a more exciting regional theatre than Chichester

Would anyone also have any insight into what time general booking tends to open at Bath? It just says 5 April on the website

More details on the David Hare play, Grace Pervades: directed by Jeremy Herrin, it tells the extraordinary story of Henry Irving (Ralph Fiennes) and Ellen Terry (Miranda Raison), the greatest stars of the Victorian stage, and Ellen’s troubled and brilliant children - Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig - who made their own profound contribution to the development of British theatre.
And the Rebecca Lenkiewicz play, Small Hotel, on from 3rd to 18th October: Ralph Fiennes plays Larry, an acclaimed TV presenter and celebrity, whose life and career are rapidly unravelling. As he is forced to unpick his past and confront his future, we meet a collection of unforgettable characters, including Larry’s troubled twin brother Richard, his unpredictable former lover, actress Marianne, and his domineering mother Athena.
I'm rather excited by these.

Dunno why he's moaning, he gets plenty of film roles as well as theatre and I've checked his Wikipedia page and he has done a few TV films and did two episodes of Rev.

Fiennes is very very good in Conclave, a solid Papal drama that previewed at cinemas this week.
