In a small theater above a coffee shop just off of the Broadway district in Buenos Aires is what I’m thinking. It is an Argentina premier.
I saw the recent production in London with the talkback by the author. This is not that production at all, and it may refer back to a previous production in London, which I didn’t see.
I did see the Waterloo production, which I think was four years ago and enjoyed it very much
But in this production, many of those rules have changed and felt hyper sexualized in a really good way that I didn’t get from the Southwark theater production in January.
For those of you who care there was really no diversity in the casting because we are in Latin America so all the actors were Latino. My only criticism was that the best actor in my opinion was playing Alex, but he had almost 0 chemistry with the other actors. That may be because of the height differentiation between them.
I’m not sure how long this show is running in prentice areas, and it only plays a few nights a week, but I think Kathy and they announce that they were touring

People can’t have chemistry because they are different heights?

People can’t have chemistry because they are different heights? I'm honored you read my comment. It is the height difference in this production that was a major problem for me. Remember this is my opinion. When the understudies or possible second cast was introduced they were all of similar stature. In the context of the play it's important. It did not benefit the play to cast these particular actors at the performance I attended.
