Two months ago, Megan's cabaret at Café Carlyle has been released on CD - apparently digital only: www.amazon.co.uk/Live-Cafe-Carlyle-Megan-Hilty/dp/B01FKZ7H9G/Just found this out today and thought to share it with you in case someone else might be interested in this recording. Track List: Really looking forward to the two Smash/Bombshell songs, even though I had hoped she had recorded Don't Forget Me instead so that I don't have to listen to that terribly awful Katharine McPhee version anymore.

Thanks for this - I will be downloading. Really liked Megan Hilty in Smash, far better than KMcP so it is a shame there aren't a few more tracks from that.

Michael, they did do a studio version of Megan's Don't Forget Me! I don't think it was included on the Bombshell CD but they released it around the time of the opening night episode! I got it from a tumblr when the episode first aired but it's on YouTube - enjoy!

demelza Thank you so much. You are a star. I've waited so long for a proper version of this song (well, apart from the video from series 2 where Megan/Ivy performs this song on stage. I do own the Bombshell recording, and was hugely disappointed when I found out that they've only put the Katharine McPhee version on it.

Just booked my tickets (or at least I think I have- I have a transaction reference) but no booking confirmation e-mail yet. Is anyone else having this trouble?

Have tried to call but line is either busy or cuts off after saying it is redirecting you! You would have thought they had learned keasons from the Jeremy Jordan issues last year!

Tried to get meet and greet tickets but the page failed after putting in payment details. They then sold out so managed to get standard stalls tickets - well we have a transaction reference same as you do! I guess I could have ended up with both! Tried to call the box office to confirm but they are permanently engaged. The website certainly couldn't cope with the sales this morning.

Ok, just had a call back from Hippodrome from my initial call at 11.10 trying to book tickets! (Luckily I managed to book online in between). They resent confirmation so panic over!

Thanks for the replies lou & geweena. I finally managed to get through on the phone and they confirmed they had my order and re-sent my confirmation e-mail so I'm all set to go. Was lucky enough to get meet & greet tickets so am super excited for this! Roll on September!

Looking at some old programmes recently and discovered I had seen her as Glinda in Wicked on Broadway.

First Adele and now Megan. I am not having a good year for seeing female performers live!

Booked for the matinee on the 3rd. Second row, only been in Cadogan Hall once before so can't remember what views are like at all. Having sat in the VERY back row for Bombshell (and felt damn lucky to be there at all) it'll be nice to sit closer for this, sore neck or not!

The stage is very low as it's mainly used for orchestral concerts.

I saw her convert in Melbourne. If you have a chance to see it then DO. She's incredible live. She's funny, warming, charming and intimate.

Caught this show last night.
Now, I'm gonna be honest, although I was aware of her, I was not too sure what'd she's done.
I was aware that she was in the 9 to 5 musical and in Smash (Never actually seen it. As a 'stagey' person and a member of this board, is this bad?) but she was brilliant! My first time in Cadogan Hall as well.
Look, there's no denying this woman can sing, what one me over more than her voice was her personality. She told stories of her youth and how she originally trained in opera. Auditioning. Her time in Wicked, with Indina Menzel, time in 9 to 5, meeting Stephen Sondheim and her time in Smash..
She sung songs from Little Shop of horrors, Wicked, 9 to 5, Sweeney Todd, Waitress and of course Smash.
She explained how much she loved Sweeney Todd, suggesting that this and Into The Woods were her favourite shows, explaining how, amidst the chaos and death in Sweeney Todd, there are these little gems of bliss such as Johanna and Nothings Gonna Harm You.
Although she didn't appear in the movie, she was at the table reading for the film.
She came across as extremely level headed and whilst the audience were extremely vocal and rapturous with praise she seemed genuinely touched.
Witty. Smart. Attractive. Engaging with the audience. Complimenting London theatre -The Rink
I guess, despite being a professional and having a set list, it's hard to anticipate how well you're known in another country and how well you'll be received.
Don't be surprised if we see her back on our shores soon.

I guess this is probably the most appropriate place to post this; just read on BroadwayWorld that Megan’s sister and her family (husband, young daughter and unborn child) died in a plane crash on Sunday. How horrifically tragic.
