Can anyone recommend a speech of a likeable character, who seems to have swallowed a dictionary or embellishes every fruity word - any sex. Does Mrs malaprop have any lengthy speeches? thanks

Can anyone recommend a speech of a likeable character, who seems to have swallowed a dictionary or embellishes every fruity word - any sex. Does Mrs malaprop have any lengthy speeches? thanks I immediately thought of this one, Lord Foppington from The Relapse, which long long ago I saw Simon Callow do quite hilariously embellishing every word taking full advantage of the character transposing "o" and "a" in some words. I mean it's not obviously very funny from the text but I suppose that's the point - it depends on the actor.

Thank you, that's perfect, and rather lovely. I had been thinking of sir Foppling Flutter as well, or the small part of the player in the beggar's Opera. Thank you.
