Maybe to follow Rags into Hope Mill and/or the Park Theatre , again with changes (rewrite) as Mr Schwartz deems appropriate ?

Where is this being staged? Any further information would be appreciated. Not an Aria production as far as I know, Elaine Paige commented “I gather it maybe coming back to London soon" when talking about the show. She has obviously heard something but that's all we have currently lol

I'd be very interested in seeing this! Laura Michelle Kelly sang 'Meadowlark' at her concert last year, and said that she'd love to be in a production of it. I know that it'll never happen, but I'd love to see her in this, can't wait to see where and when this might be happening

It's Southwark towards the summer I believe, but definitely Southwark.

The title character gets the shows biggest numbers, but its the Baker himself that carries the bulk of the show. Both roles are sought after so it will be interesting to see who they cast.

I have been listening to this, and there really is some beautiful music in this. The Gift of Love is gorgeous.

Saw this back at the “old” union in around 2010 I think it was. Very enjoyable show that I’ll look forward to revisiting.

I love the score but this show never works on stage. If we get a new recording of it then I’ll be chuffed.

Would make the trip down from Manchester to see this. I imagine it would work well in this intimate space.

I’ve never been to the Menier before. When are tickets for this likely to go on sale?

It is a rich score. Never seen it live but this is certainly tempting.
Meadowlark and Proud Lady are both great sings. Casting will be important.

I don’t know the show or score at all, but it is Stephen Schwartz so consider me booked! The Menier looks like it is well and truly back, what with this and PACIFIC OVERTURES.

Great news. I'd have preferred The Magic Show, but given that's never going to happen, I'll take this as second best! Great score but somewhat thin book.

Great score but somewhat thin book. Totally agree. I hope they reinstate Endless Delights, otherwise the title character is missing for the majority of Act 2 and no one is really that interested in the villagers and their quibbles with each other. Maybe it will be a new version alltogethr.
