No outdoor productions that I know of.
The most visually innovative production was done in Copenhagen at the Det Ny Teater - there are photos on Tumblr and Pinterest. I wish I could find video of the production. A really unique take in the production design, probably my favourite images after the Australian production. I also appreciated that the actors cast in the leads had played the Phantom and Christine before, and were appropriately middle aged and looked it, for once, compared to the North American tour cast and the youthful Australian cast.

I've only seen the Aussie pro-shot, so it's interesting to see how much more the 'Coney Island Waltz' number (I assume) puts the 'freaks' front and centre as the main attraction. Which makes sense.

Love the steampunk vibe to the production and costume design, and the OP callbacks with the wall of candles. I think one of the things an opera buff would appreciate is the Madame Butterfly look to the title song, which immediately signals she's doomed. Of course, peacock feathers being bad luck on stage would also send the same signal in the Aussie production, but only for someone who was aware of that trivia. The saturated jewel tones and encrustation on some of the costumes in the Danish production would make Maria Bjornson proud.
