I succumbed to bronze membership yesterday and booked 4 things, but it wouldn't let me book Uncle Vanya until October. Must have been a glitch in the booking system for those of you who got to book it. I just logged into my membership and having already booked Uncle Vanya, it's giving me the option to book more for any dates I like. Maybe drop them a line?

cavocado If you booked today - public booking open - you could book anyway, so maybe your membership hasn't been activated yet (it'll be a manual operation at the OT, I imagine).

Gosh, both this and Hampstead's new season going live within 3 days of each other and offering 8+ productions each is expensive and stressful - but managed to secure my 4 desired OT bookings yesterday during a rare gap between calls at work. No time to be too picky and my preferred seats had already gone but still got £15 aisle seats for matinees and on dates with post-show discussions - quite like the old days under Sam Walters. Now all I/we need is an end to scary train strikes/overtime bans...

Must have been a glitch in the booking system for those of you who got to book it. Suggest you email Hannah.McLelland@orangetreetheatre.co.uk who handles membership issues like this, she is very helpful. As has been said probably it's just a delay between buying membership and them activating it in your account. Standard public booking for Uncle Vanya doesn't open till October.

Thanks Jan, I'll email her. I wondered if they'd opened it to Bronze members by mistake as it's now saying that priority booking doesn't open until October.

I didn't need to email, just tried again on the website and was able to book this time.

Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom) announced as the lead in Red Speedo: www.whatsonstage.com/news/finn-cole-to-star-in-european-premiere-of-red-speedo_1591085/Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom) is set to make his professional stage debut in the European premiere of Red Speedo.
Described as “thrilling and dangerous” by our New York sister site during its 2016 Off-Broadway run, the play is written by Lucas Hnath (A Doll’s House, Part 2) and tells the story of Ray (played by Cole), a swimmer on the brink of international glory and a life-changing sponsorship deal until performance-enhancing drugs are discovered in the club’s refrigerator.
Under the direction of Matthew Dunster (2:22 A Ghost Story), the creative team includes designer Anna Fleischle, associate designer and costume designer Cat Fuller, lighting designer Sally Ferguson, sound designer Holly Khan, casting director Matilda James, fight director RC-Annie, and accent coach Aundrea Fudge.

Interesting to see this, have bought tickets for July. Looking forward to it!
