What a night for Sunset. Fabulous. And hugely well deserved. Totally agree. Virtually swept the board.

A bit gutted for David and Grace. Would have loved them to have won and for Sunset to have got a clean sweep.

Hannah’s funniest joke of the night was saying Little Big Things was a sellout…

Hannah’s funniest joke of the night was saying Little Big Things was a sellout… Technically it was for the last few weeks of its run. I was pleased that Operation Mincemeat has won Best Musical and Dear England Best Play. Not so keen on Stranger Things winning best entertainment when it should have been in Best Play.

Sorry but Hannah is just awful.
Proof again that we just don’t know how to stage awards shows. Just hideously terrible.

Hannah Waddingham, annoying as hell, what a massive show off. Her opening speech was toe curling, fell flat a few times there.

How hard is it to have actual jokes that land. Performances that aren’t toe curling? Jeez.

Lots of these people performing Little Big Things weren’t in the show right ? I recognised quite a few of them from when I saw it.

Issue with Hannah, and I watched her host Eurovision too- she just tries TOO HARD. But admittedly I much prefer dry humour & hate slap stick etc. it just comes off so hammy.

Watching the show on catch up and it is a total embarrassment.
Shockingly bad.
London Musical Theatre needs to hit the reset button and pray for a miracle to save it from such boring mediocrity.

She just comes across as Actressy and as you say, tries too hard. She’d be wise to give us all a break from her for a while and come back doing what she does best- performing in a musical.

Seen much less theatre than pre Covid, but happy to say I have seen most of the winners!

People moan about the ceremony not being broadcast live in the UK but I suspect if ITV1 did show it live, it would do badly ratings wise.
