Who are these people who keep getting vouchers and not spending them? I wonder if it is done by amount too. Eg if you got a ticket for something under £25, the change could goes back into the pot after 18 days. You’d be hard pushed to have change out of £25 for a theatre ticket nowadays! But yes, it’s possible, I know a few seats are available in that price range.

Who are these people who keep getting vouchers and not spending them? I was one, I was really pleased to get a voucher but I've not been anywhere near a theatre in the last 3 weeks. If I had been in London I'd have used it but I'm in the countryside. I absolutely hate phoning people so I was left with the options of the using it to get a ticket online. That limits it, and of those shows, there was nothing I want to see enough to buy a ticket for in the stalls at full price with the £25 off. The shows I'm interested in seeing have day seats or offers where the token can't be used so even with the money off nothing was jumping out. Also I'm currently not sure as to when I'll be able to see anything so I didn't want to risk buying a ticket I'll be unable to use. I hope someone makes good use of it when it's reassigned. I know people were clever and got National Theatre vouchers but I think that might even have involved phoning/ going to the box office. It's not that I didn't try to use it, I looked at so many ideas, considered a children's show for a friend and her son, all sorts, but there really just was nothing I wanted to get with it.

The first two offerings completely passed me by but I was able to get a voucher today - think I was a bit lucky. I guess my many no-match Euromillions tickets weren’t a total waste of money!
The voucher took just under an hour to come through.

When I saw that I had been randomly allocated position 1,600 or so in the queue I thought there was no chance I'd get a voucher but I did. My daughter was allocated a position around about 3,800 and she got a voucher too. We used the two we previously got to buy tickets that we otherwise would not have booked for - and I hope to use my new one in the same spirit.

I read on Twitter they had about £100k of vouchers to give out, so around 4,000. Your daughter was very lucky!

The vouchers via this scheme run out tonight at midnight (or at least mine does). I've just redeemed mine this morning. This is just a reminder in case anyone still has one they haven't used.
