There is a new production of Notre Dame de Paris set to open in Paris on November 23 2016 and to tour France from April 2017. i am going to be in London from November 7-15 so will just miss the show in Paris, but I came across 2 performances on November 12/13 2016 at Le Colisée de Roubaix, France (near Lille) and was considering a day trip on Eurostar to see it. Can anyone with a better understanding of French tell me if this is the same production that is opening in Paris (maybe the equivalent of preview performances?) I can't find any mention of the Roubaix dates on the official show website notredamedeparislespectacle.comProbably a long shot, but has anyone been to Le Colisee Theatre de Roubaix and can tell me the best seats to get? www.coliseeroubaix.com/193_notre-dame-de-paris.htmlThanks

On a ticket website I found it called these dates 'les avant-premières' (literally: the before-premiere, so yes a preview) and then goes on to say it will open in Paris later in November, so it seems it is the same production.
As for the venue, no I've never been, but will have a look at the website later.

yea, it's a try-out for the Paris production. If you go to this page www.coliseeroubaix.com/le-colisee/theatre.php and click on Visite Virtuelle, you can get a 360° look around the auditorium. I think this should answer your questions It definitely looks a lot smaller than the Palais des Congres in Paris or the other oversized venues in which the French spectacles play. So you should be fine with a regular Cat.1 seat. Premium Seats have arrived in France in the shape of the "Carre d'Or", the Golden Circle, but it's usually just a couple of rows. Lille is a lovely city, enjoy!
