I think it's fair to the say that the Opera crowd is more likely to object to the addition of a narrator role, so Mr Addison isn't necessarily a draw for them.
L'Etoile has some lovely tunes in it (can't say that about all operas....) so hopefully it'll catch on eventually

I initially didn't plan on going, but was roped in by a friend. I since realised that I saw the Moira Buffini adaptation of the play called 'Dying for it' at the Almeida about a decade ago and I *think* I really liked it then, unless I'm mixing it up with something else. Either way, looking forward to it.

Couldn't resist a Marlowe and am now in possession of a front row seat. Can't be worse than the time I sat behind Mr 7 foot 2 inches and had to stretch like mad to even to look over his shoulder.
Maybe Abby and I need to form a support group for the tv challenged, I also had no idea who Kit Someone is.

I dropped the Peanut on my way here. Over the last few years, my theatre going consists mostly of ballet and opera, with a couple of plays per month thrown in for good measure. My lurk-to-post ratio is probably 50:1

Spiffing forum once the signup horror is over. Looks pretty good and the ads aren't too bad. It seems a little slow when typing,in Quick Reply (but fine when using Create Post) but if that's the only niggle on a free board it's all coming up roses.
Im not sure when I'll need superscript, but love having the options

^Congrats to the first moan on the test board Boys (grown up variety) sniggering every single time when a female dancer appeared on stage in Le Corsaire. In the end I had to resolve the issue by leaning outrageously forward so they couldn't make out who's on stage one way or the other. Sniggering resolved, and I only had to repeat it 3 times until they finally cottoned on.
