This extension is the best news of the theatre year so far -- the two separately and together are sublime and Sara is SO much better than either Jessie or the utterly blank, expressionless Kat as to lift the show into an entirely new dimension. Do Not Miss It. Do you think you could maybe compliment one woman without bringing another down, especially as this show is all about female empowerment and sisterhood? Just a thought.

Amber’s casting makes me a lot more excited for this, she can definitely belt out a big number.

Miss Saigon, especially with Jon Jon and Eva. The amazing 20th anniversary Rent tour and most of that incredible cast. Dreamgirls, wish I’d seen it more, just gotta wait till September fot the tour now! Definitely Sunset Boulevard, and I wish I could see the original production. Legally Blonde, always lots of fun and usually a killer singer as Elle. And of course COMPANY, really wish I could get to Broadway to see it.

So will this tour just keep going and eventually start doing the same places again? If it keeps selling the way it has been I don't see a need for them to stop it. Well they’re already going back to Milton Keynes Yep plus Bath and Cheltenham.

Cast recording almost definitely out digitally tomorrow (no idea if that means at midnight or in the morning).
(Sources: VERY OBVIOUS clues/hints on the show’s social media)

Are there STILL no discounts for this? Both circles are basically completely unsold and as mentioned upthread they’ve already put the balcony off-sale.

Is Alexia back in the show? Yes, her first show back was the same day as Sophie’s debut.

Sheridan would be good in the Mrs Norbury/George etc. role it’s true but I don’t think she’d ever do it, she’s too much of a star for a supporting role like that. Love the suggestion of Jac Yarrow as Aaron though, he’d be great. I see Lucie Jones maybe as Regina, I just feel she’d be really good at playing “bitch” and it’s something completely different to Jenna for her.

Already got stalls for their run in the GILT sale but thought I’d probably like to see Sara twice so picked up a £15 Row O dress for the last week of their run.

Lol. Well I mean it’s sort of true as I said I knew everyone would disagree ;-) I understand most people found it the ultimate star turn. I just didn’t get it! These things can only ever be subjective.... OK, compared to me she can sing, but her voice is weaker, has a smaller range and is less reliable than your average ensemble member on a West End stage. She's 70. What did you expect Whitney Houston? Well Patti is also 70...

James Corden and Sheridan Smith as the Baker and Baker’s Wife. Would never happen with James right now and I’m sure the majoirty of the board would HATE this idea but my god they’d sell tickets!

Few questions; what performances does the alternate do and when is the next cast change? I really want to see Mazz Murray in this after her hilarious performance in Cinderella at Cadogan Hall. Thanks in advance!

Aren’t Caroline, Natalie and Bonnie all supposed to be leaving on the 11th of next month? And we’ve heard absolutely nothing about replacements.

I was bored late last night so worked out that the average price I’ve paid for a theatre ticket this year is £30, across 31 shows seen this year. Considering how crazy ticket prices can be I’m pretty chuffed that I seem to have managed to be pretty bargain-savvy this year! If anyone else is as bored as me and has the info to work it out (and doesn’t mind sharing!) I’d love to find out how much on average we’ve all spent on a theatre ticket this year.

TodayTix Boxing Day sale has started, selection of shows is not too bad but a lot of the usual suspects are up there! Seat allocations again are just okay but still worth a look, I’ve managed to pick up Row T stalls for City of Angels for £20 and Row Y stalls for Prince of Egypt for £30 so pretty happy.

Much as I love Marisha I’m fuming at this! I went to her “last show” especially thinking it to be her last show and to catch her a second time and sacrificed the chance to ever get to see Kelly Agbowu as Becky and now she’s bloody coming back three months later 😂

Worth mentioning that the GILT sale has tickets for most of Sara’s run at £40 front stalls and circle and £30 for slightly further back. A steal considering it’s Sara I think, I was worried they were going to be stingy with discounts!
