Any chance this will transfer or would CM want to veto a non replica coming to town?

Just going off social media, but Boublil, Schönberg and MacKintosh all attended rehearsals and were audience members later in the run too. Hoping that’s a good sign as you’d think they wouldn’t bother with travelling to Sheffield multiple times if they thought it was a dud.

Given sensitivities particularly with the political mindset of Londoners, I think unlikely. There’s literally a play called **** Miss Saigon in the Young Vic right now so if it were to return, it’ll probably do a second run in Sheffield rather than travel down.
Speaking of Young Vic, Something else might be heading into that theatre though…

Saigon ran for just fine for two years at the Prince Edward in recent memory, and the play at the Young Vic has very little to say really when you actually look at it.
There's no reason this shouldn't come to London - if CamMack thinks it worthy he'll bring it in.

Despite running at the height of summer, a traditionally quite time of year for regional theatres, the production at the world-famous Crucible Theatre was seen by over 35,000 people, with over 30% of those attending a Sheffield Theatres production for the first time, including many TB members.
As my good friend has pointed out above, CamMack didn't become a billionaire by passing on opportunities when they're handed to him.
And congratulations are due to Jessica Lee, who won Best Performer in a Musical at The Stage Debut Awards on Sunday night.

Does anyone know the Crucible's summer plans for this year? They always have a terrific summer show. A revival of Miss Saigon would be epic, but I reckon they wouldn't do that again
