I was planning to buy tomorrow, when the general presale opens. Are the snowzone side stalls up for sale? Most of them are on the sale in rows H-K the lower stalls. Stage stalls premium seats totally off sale right now. Another good spot is Row X Dress Circle by the band. It's a magical view from there. I got my usual row H side stalls, Row X, and Atkins Box front 5 for various dates for family and friends. Will nip back for PwC lottery for preview fillers. Oh I've booked row H side stalls, seats 24-28. Are they good then? Was hard to tell from the seating plan

Still one of the best kept secrets - these seats beat premium face-on seats hands down. Great choice!

Managed to watch this on a recent trip to London with my daughter, thank goodness for the Friday Matinee so we could fit it in. We sat in the stage stalls on row Q, I thought the seats were great and we enjoyed the tangerines handed out before the show.
What a fantastic play, in January it felt festive so on the run up to Christmas it must be even more so! The lanterns create a great atmosphere and the staging in the round was very enjoyable.
Christopher Eccleston was a really good Scrooge, I also particularly enjoyed Gemma Knight Jones as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Rob Compton as Bob Cratchit. I loved when Scrooge became a changed man and the atmosphere changed completely. The interaction with the audience was a lot of fun, when it snowed it felt very magical.
The Carols were beautifully sung and played and I can totally understand why people want to watch this every year, if I lived in London it definately would become a tradition for me too. It looks like we have a more local A Christmas Carol this year at The Lowry so we will give that a go I think but I'd watch this again given the chance.
The show start was delayed for a technical reason but it was very well handled and we were kept well informed throughout and able to pop out to use facilities if required. It was probably 15 to 20 minutes delayed.

It’s still early days but any idea on whose actor will lead this production, should it return this Christmas season?
Wish list of actors who can play Scrooge (some names are bonkers though):
Toby Stephens Jared Harris Richard Coyle Ben Daniels Ben Miles Rufus Sewell Charles Edwards Paul Hilton Alex Jennings

Eccleston was sorted a lot earlier than usual in 2023/24 hence his announcement earlier - I probably wouldn't expect an announcement til sometime in the summer but I may be wrong.

As much as I love the idea of a new Scrooge each year, I'm surprised none of the 7 actors haven't returned yet for another season (with the exception of Owen Teale who also did it in Melbourne last Christmas).

Yours are great too, especially love the Richard Coyle idea "Richard E Grant, Hugh Bonneville, David Tennant, Tom Hiddleston, Damien Lewis, Martin Clunes also spring to mind."

This could run for decades more. There are so many options for Scrooge
