Do they ever do a second release later in the day? With Joseph just cancelled for tonight I have a free evening and am keen to replace with something else - last minute bargain preferred!

I've got a rush ticket quite late on in the day when I've checked back later.

Yes, that do, but Sunday evening options are very limited already. There aren't even many deals on the TKTS website, so I wouldn't hold out of this. If you're got time to fill, it's always worth going to the Box Offices directly and seeing what they can do.

Singles at all price points for this evenings ‘Six’ on the Nimax website. Thanks but there are two of us. It seems Sunday evenings are indeed a difficult one - I've given up! A shame that Singin in the Rain seems to have hundreds of seats available (at full price).

Have you tried contacting their box office? I did - phone line was closed, recorded message suggested emailing but with a three day turnaround!

Doesn’t seem like a great way of filling your theatre does it? I know that they have been willing to cover the costs of social distancing but you’d have thought they would get rid of what they can?

Singin in the Rain was quietly discounting through email earlier in the week, but I haven't spotted anything this weekend. They do have Rush but looks like those sold out quickly.

Yes, I am surprised they don't dump more seats via Rush when so many are unsold. Was the discounting via Sadler's Wells' emails or elsewhere?

I love tee main SW auditorium but sadly for many shows it is quite sparse and discounts are equally as sparse

Rush tickets for Singin in the Rain still available for tonight. I could have had C22 in the stalls.

It's just offered me stalls row E, 23 - 24 (though sadly I can't go tonight!).

Glitching again this morning for anything goes! Don’t know what the issue is, emailed last week and had no reply as of yet. Very frustrating! Although glad they wasn’t stalls seats as I would have been so annoyed.

What really amazes me is how quickly the seats are going. If you miss out on your first choice of show, everything is taken for the rest (the exception generally being the shows which only offer the seats at the back that were heavily discounted already).
I know it's worth checking back at random times, but Rush definitely isn't as easy as it used to be.

I guess there’s also a more limited number of shows right now, and combine that with school hols, less people going abroad and a lot of pent up demand that’s probably why. I’m guessing it may be easier come September/October once everything’s back open and schools are back.

When the Rush tickets started it was really only regular theatregoers who knew about the app - it wasn't advertised in any big way and unless you were pointed to it by a friend or a show's website you could easily not notice its existence. The last 3 or 4 years pre-pandemic, though, it grew massively. They did big advertising campaigns and started selling tickets for pretty much every show under the sun. Their user base must have sky-rocketed. Hence there are now loads more people who will casually try for Rush tickets on a daily basis, making the competition much bigger than the 'olden days'.

TodayTix is essentially one of the biggest ticket agents now... They acquired big companies like Encore Tickets and with that came huge amounts of customer data going back years and years.
Plus, some 'fan girl' shows like Six and Heathers have lots of people trying every single day and seeing shows multiple times. I believe at one point there was even a WhatsApp group of hundreds of Six fans all trying for tickets every day and then selling them between themselves... Though I believe that was cracked down on somehow.
Gone are the days of this app being a theatre fan's best kept secret! Saying that I have been lucky with rush seats lately, managed to get Hairspray and Come from Away without too much stress.

I still find it fairly reliable - just checked now out of curiousity and was able to get Six, Anything Goes and Pretty Woman for tonight if I'd wanted them... I know a lot of it is luck but definitely keep checking throughout the day, all isn't lost if there's nothing at 10am.

Just been offered Q8 for AG tonight. Might be easier for the single theatre goer later on in the day.

I know it's worth checking back at random times, but Rush definitely isn't as easy as it used to be. Agreed. There was a trick I used to be able to use on a previous version which was to change the clock on my phone so it was 1 minute fast, so even though their server would allow the tickets to be obtained at exactly 10am, the popup allowing me to click on the rush icon popped up when my phone said 10am. That way I was able to click on the ticket button exactly at 10am. Unfortunately that no longer works on the latest version.

Looks like Jersey Boys has been added to the Rush ticket lineup.
I got row A (5th row) for Singin' in the Rain tonight.

Just wondering if anyone had got allocation for Les Mis Concert and Tina?
Do they have allocated Rush seats like some shows or they just unsold and if so what type of seats have you been offered?

Just wondering if anyone had got allocation for Les Mis Concert and Tina? Do they have allocated Rush seats like some shows or they just unsold and if so what type of seats have you been offered? I tried LM this morning, it was showing me pretty good seats in the Grand Circle, and availability was fine - still tickets by 10.15ish

For LM, there tends to be availability all day, but do check the official site as well. The Grand Circle seats that appear at £25 are often the ones that are £23 on the official site (or were, before they were moved to Rush). The prices do vary a lot for LM though due to dynamic pricing.
For Tina, they also tend to have availability for a lot of the day. It's normally the second row or the rear stalls/dress circle. But providing you can manage without central Stalls these ones do tend to much cheaper than the official channels.

Was hoping that without the stunt casting of Les Mis that stall seats would appear :-(
