I also thought Dippy Egg was Ed Balls, but it's (spoiling because this person blurted out it was them during a live broadcast this week) {Spoiler - click to view} Simon Rimmer from Sunday Brunch. Wasn’t that a fake reveal/joke? …and isn’t Rimmer a bit z list for this series so far.

I went in the other room to get something at one point during Happy Talk, and thought ‘That sounds a bit like Lorraine Kelly.’ Then I thought ‘nah.’ 🤣 Exactly the same. Literally a 3 word phrase, then nothing afterwards did. I was convinced it sounded like Alex Scott.

Wasn’t that a fake reveal/joke? Maybe? I haven't been following the situation all that closely. Not sure what the joke would be, I have to say!

No, I think its Jodie Prenger from Blackpool, home of the other tower.

I think Dippy Egg could be Nicky Campbell Excellent guess! 😉

Will admit I didn't see Nicky Campbell coming, largely because I know nothing about him beyond his time hosting the 5 Live breakfast show. I'd never heard of the show he's apparently been doing with McCall for over a decade!
I was going to moan that all the hints about football and politics went unexplained, then I realised that it's just the latest example of the show blurring the line between presenting/reporting on things and being directly involved with things.
I found it funny that the panel guessed every Pussycat Doll for Maypole apart from Melody Thornton. Must have been a little awkward!

Tonight's unmasking was good although has Air Fryer aka Keala Settle always spoke with an English accent?
The clues for Cricket confirmed for me that it's Lemar

No chance of any further surprises in the final, it's nailed on to be Alex Brooker (Bigfoot) and Danny Jones (Piranha). I suppose there's a tiny chance that Cricket is Simon Webbe rather than Lemar, but this feels very unlikely.

Loved the finale. All three thoroughly rumbled weeks ago but put in fantastic performances in their own unique way. I've been a fan of Alex Brooker for a long time and it made me oddly emotional seeing him sing I Am The One and Only. I never knew Danny Jones could sing like that, and Lemar was just pure class start to finish.
I don't know anyone other than my wife who watches this, so I'm grateful for this little community who shares enjoyment in this bizarre and silly show with me ❤️

I really enjoyed the final. Yes it’s a daft show and the judges are annoying but it’s fun and there’s nothing to lose or gain really for the contestants - it’s just an entertaining Saturday night tv show. A fab version of It’s All Coming Back To Me by Piranha 😊 I’d love it if they could explain all of the clues to the viewers (since there’s up to 8 weeks worth!) - just put then up on the screen please!

The Masked Singer has been a guilty pleasure of mine since it started, my favourite aspect is not the singing even though that is great to fun but trying to work out who is it. Some you can get if you know them but others require a bit more work.
Hopefully there is another series, there are so many people I want to see on there.

It is a daft bit of fun, much like the new Gladiators, which is another guilty pleasure. No real surprises, but entertaining enough finale. I only really half watched it while playing on my phone though. I usually watch programmes in their entirety, but I think I’ll be fast-forwarding quite liberally in future.

Jonathan Ross while being interviewed earlier in the week said they would be getting together again later this year to record next years show.
