I was looking forward to seeing a few doors get slammed again in Dartford.
The original production got panned and closed early in New York, this revival caught everyone by surprise where Mark Rylance bagged th Tony and the play itself got best revival. I would’ve loved to of seen that production.
Roger Allam was the star. Rylance played his hick friend who was Welsh in the London production but apparently he did it in fluent Wisconsin in the US which surprised everyone who didn't know he'd grown up there
