Not surprising but finally confirmed that The Girls is going to the Phoenix after Guys and Dolls.

Watch out Lloyd Webber, you're reign is over, looks like Gary Barlow could have two musicals on the go in Lomdon, so Take That?!?!?!

I can't help but feel that this story is done (can see a lot of people confusing it with the play), and what I can find of the score on Youtube doesn't fill me with any urge to see it either. I hope it does well etc etc, but don't think this one is for me.

God
What the f*** is the point in this charade
Announcing shows a year ahead
Tickets not even on sale for ages
When we all know
It'll be on TKTS
And closing within 18 months
It's boring now

Great news as far as I'm concerned, the next big question for me is, who will join the cast?

Should be a good show. I'm tempted to say Claire Sweeney? I think she'd be a good addition

Great news as far as I'm concerned, the next big question for me is, who will join the cast? And I thought the two most important questions were "Will there be dayseats?" and "How high is the stage?"... As I find Gary Barlow's music terribly boring and samey and had to force myself through the Finding Neverland cast recording, I think that I'm going to give this show a miss.

I'm thinking Dreamgirls for the Dominion, definitely. Will there be merch?

I'd suggest they drop the "Yorkshire" accents (unless theyre going to get actors who can actually do one, and I don't mean generic "oop north") and beef up the orchestra because it sounded very poor in Salford. The set wasn't great either but I suspect you'll be stuck with it. Enjoy!

I believe they were making adjustments to the set but probably not a major overhaul. I was hoping they might update the typeface on the promo, it doesn't exactly look West End worthy... Saying that, the semi circle above the theatre entrance is perfectly shaped for the sunflower.

On Twitter it said there was a new re-design. What's the set like? Should be good?

There was a marquee set that came on too, with drapes of bunting.

A motor vehicle is used as well. And a sofa.

Perhaps Mirren, Walters, Imrie, Wilton, and Crosbie could reprise their roles from the film. Now THAT would be a stellar cast!
its not too late!
