After listening to the cast recording for the whole of yesterday afternoon I’ve caved and bought tickets for the final performance at the arts. Looking forward to seeing it again I’m going to the matinee on that day and I know Being Alive and Rukaya are there too! Ooohh enjoy! I was debating going to the matinee as well, but I think I may go see Eugenius instead, seeing as I’ve still yet to see that show.

Looks like it's exchanges only from last nights performance - just had to request a new date and they'll let me know the details.
Not sure what they'll do with my ticket and tickets like mine - there are none available at that price point or below any more! Cheapest available at any date are twice as expensive.

It's been announced that 'Hot Gay Time Machine' by the writers of Six will transfer to Trafalgar Studios 2 and play from late November to early January 😀

I really enjoyed this, the good word of mouth made me intrigued to see it but I loved the format; it is basically a musical for those that don't want too much story. It helps that we all know what happened when we went in and as a result can relax and have a lot of fun. I thought all the tracks were so good, Get Down and Don't Lose Ur Head are a lot of fun, and I can see it gaining cult status like Rocky Horror with people dressing up as their favourite queen.

I was there too! As you say the first 15 minutes were incredible - I thought the stage manager was a part of the show at first! Did you catch what we are supposed to do about tickets? Didn't want to go annoy the poor box office people who looked highly stressed! I was there too, apparently the stage was too slippery to continue! We were told we'd receive an automatic refund. Shame because the first 15 minutes were good fun. And I was there too along with two friends! Disappointed to have had a wasted trip to London, but these things happen. Not sure that the three of us will be able to coincide diaries to get a free date before the end of the run so one or all of us may miss seeing it now. Not sure how the rest of the run has sold, the cancelled performance was sold out according to the board outside.

When I looked there was still reasonable availability late in the run, but I'm off on holiday soon and then the London Film Festival intrudes, so I'm not sure if I will make it back either, which would be a shame.
Maybe it will return to London after the tour given it seems to be doing well this time round.

Sadly there's no tickets left at the price I paid so I might have to miss out! Shame as I loved the first little bit, as you say fingers crossed for a return at some point!

Members in the London area, don't forget the Kingston dates - with much more affordable pricing and a larger auditorium.

I saw this this evening and absolutely loved it. It was just so much fun! I won't be able to make the Kingston dates but I'm sorely tempted to book for the last London show!

Today, SIX handed over the official Instagram account to Jarneia Richard-Noel who plays Catherine of Aragon, and there was a series of fun Q&As, backstage photos and livestreams which were fun.

I saw this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. They’re all immensely talented performers and the songwriting is incredibly catchy. It was one of the happiest reactions from a crowd I’ve ever experienced.
Once or twice, I thought the script faltered- the reference to giving ‘head’ with an accompanying gesture felt a bit off given the age of some of the kids in the crowd. Two of the wives arguing over who had more miscarriages also felt in poor taste, though mercifully they were told off for doing so by one of the other wives. I realize that the script is intended to be edgy enough for people of all ages to enjoy but I think these references could go without the show losing anything. That’s just my taste, however and others may disagree. I did overhear a mother remarking to her teenage daughter as they were leaving that there’s things in the show she ‘wouldn’t understand’ or at least she ‘hoped’ she wouldn’t.
Other than that, it’s a hugely enjoyable experience. It is well sung, acted and choreographed.

It was super fast and would have been easily missed, imo, if you aren't aware of what it meant. I liked the rude bits. They weren't too obvious and really added to my enjoyment overall. I think they should do a late night, no kids, performance.

When I saw the show at the Fringe, I looked to be the only U18 in the audience. I don’t really think the show is really intended for younger children, but the “head” joke and all the other rude/risquè bits will probably fly over younger one’s heads.

I'm 23 and the "head" joke flew over my head when I saw the original cast in January (with no accompanying gesture), that might be more a reflection on me though!

I went on one of the 4pm slots - quite a lot of younger kids were there.

I've had "All You Wanna Do" stuck in my head ever since the cast recording dropped. If you played it to someone who wasn't familiar with the show, they would definitely not think it's from a musical. It gives me 2004 Britney vibes and I adore it.

I've been singing All You Wanna Do to the cat on a non stop loop. He loves it (obviously).

I was going to try and day seat something tomorrow and thought about Six, but it seems there's no policy. Anyone tried their luck to any success?

Do 2 people share the role of Jane Seymour or something? Keep reading about people who want to see someone do it, but that someone else was on. Or is it just an understudy/illness thing?

SIX has one swing who covers all 6 roles, Grace Mouat. It seems she's been on for Jane Seymour more than any of the others. At the Edinburgh Fringe, she was actually on for Jane Seymour when I saw the show.

I got a central stalls seat for £25 from the website thanks to dynamic pricing. This is great isn't it? I had a great time, I think this is the first show I've seen in the Arts which I've properly liked.

First a big thank you to @theatremonkey for the discount code published on his website. You are a national treasure
I really enjoyed the show, far my usual type of music (Anything composed after the 17thC is frightfully garish). Such fun and makes a good point. I totally recommend it.
Somehow they have managed to capture the magic of Ed Fringe. The Arts Theatre has never seemed so appealing before

An interview with the cast Was looking forward to that, then saw it was by the MTAS crew, whom I struggle with. If nothing else, they could've angled the shot so they weren't so prominent and the subjects weren't just 20% of the frame...

I wasn't sure how TheatreBoard felt about video posting but hey, if someone else has done it When I was up at the Fringe I got to chat with Toby Marlow & Lucy Moss about the show, 6 Questions to be specific, and I loved the answers they gave so feel free to check it out. Mods, if this isn't allowed - apologies and feel free to delete!

Managed to grab myself a £6 ticket for next week after continuously checking the website and hoping!! Very pleased I'll be able to see the whole show.
Has anyone sat in the £6 bench seats? How are they?
