Entire run is now officially sold out. Shame as I wanted to catch it but couldn't commit to a date yet. Fingers crossed it'll transfer 😁

I'm so annoyed! I wanted to book this 48 hours ago but a certain significant other wanted to figure out their schedule so told me to hold off, and now it's too late. Gah!

Sorry you missed out Check For returns daily as they will put them online for performances more than 2 days ahead This is why we must NOT wait for others when booking And go ahead Or we end up missing shows!! Hampstead are having a good few sellouts In the main house

Does anybody know whether Sharon D Clark is scheduled to play the matinee this Saturday (24 April)? Thanks Why would she not be? Unless she is unwell... And as far as I am aware there are usually not any understudies at Hampstead This is not the world of the WE where people can't even manage a full weeks work!!

I think the last time I went to see Sharon D Clark was in the West End in 'Ghost' and she was off, although as far as I know she did all performances in the pantos at Hackney Empire with Clive Rowe, but I am just talking rather loosely here.

Good news. Hands down the best thing I’ve seen in yonks. Even beats the original production in my book, and was not expecting to say that!

Many have enjoyed it.
Glengarry Glen Ross. The Jungle. Caroline, or Change.
Decent shows - better than Michael Flatley and Rocky Horror etc

Surprised they're waiting until November but I guess it's due to theatre availability

This is exciting, even though I am seeing it at the Hempstead tomorrow.
I wonder if this means they will also record a cast album, as the original is out of print. I would love to hear it.

Wowsers.
This is excellent in every way. Do everything you can to get a ticket.

You mean I'm schelping my way to Swiss Cottage when I didn't have to AND no doubt shell out for it again come November?
I jest, very pleased to see this get a West End transfer and hopefully the reception it deserves. That said if Kushner could just get on with some screenwriting quietly for a bit, and cool down on the revivals my bank balance would thank him

Not always very high value in terms of ticket yield or donations

Good news since I realised when I got “about your visit” emails from Hampstead and the Almeida that I’d double booked myself for two sold out runs

I wonder if this has a possibility of extending at the playhouse, although I see they do a lot of limited run shows there

Judging by what’s available through the Hampstead website, pricing for this is a bit ambitious
£62.50 for the back of the stalls, £52.50 for back of dress circle, £32.50 for back of upper circle. Good luck with that!

Good luck with that! It’s just a f***ing joke It will be papering within weeks Sunny afternoon Was doing so for the whole Of it’s WE run Although it did well enough There is a balance to be struck between Transferring a show to allow more people to see it And cheapening it My main issue is These limited runs are sold out At Almeida hampstead Etc But the transfers hAve to discount and paper It follows that a transfer is not always a good idea for sold out runs from small venues There is no inbetween compromise medium

The arrogance and delusion of Producers Never fails to amaze Yet another show will go from sell out To being papered Hampstead theatre, which has sold out, seats 405. Playhouse theatre seats 786. It's hardly a huge leap.

There is no inbetween compromise medium St. Martin's, Criterion, and Duke of York's have capacities between 550 & 650.
