My CD just arrived 🙈 I'll see if I can attach the photos Also, I'm kind of surprised my number is so high (230), but I guess I only ordered like three weeks ago? (or maybe less?)

Now, I just need to find someone in my building with a disc drive or a CD player so I can listen to it It's stunning, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road especially😍 Mine was Number 83 and I ordered it less than half an hour after it was announced so it must have been popular!

I'm impatiently waiting on ANY of my flatmates to come back, so I can borrow their laptops to listen to it.

I hope that QR code isn't a user-specific offer of some sort.

I hope that QR code isn't a user-specific offer of some sort. I haven't checked it yet, but I doubt it is. It most likely leads to here
Edit: I've just checked and that's exactly where the QR Code leads

I'm so conflicted on how I feel about NGD - it's one of my favourite songs from Wicked, and I think Rachel is one of the best at the song. I really do enjoy the version on this track, I just need to separate it from the actual NGD. (I am glad to see Rachel putting her own twist on it though - especially at " that's the reason why.."!)

It caught me off guard. I cried. It's just so 'Rachel'. That dog still means the same even changing it an unrecognisable amount.

Haven't had chance to post my thoughts until now... Wow, what a treat Monday night was! Rachel was absolutely wonderful, she's very engaging with the audience, coming down the aisles and interacting with them plus she's hilarious. There was a real mix of songs which I enjoyed and it gave us an glimpse at her (very good) taste in music. The Tina Turner medley was not only hysterical but very well performed and sung and one of the highlights. My other highlights were If You Ever See Me Talking to a Sailor from The Last Ship, Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen and like I said in my post above, of course, Defying Gravity. It was nice to see her speak so highly of Wicked during the show after playing the part so long, it clearly means a lot to her and she said she would be happy to do another 1000 performances - although I think she knows enough is enough and she's left on a huge high. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was gorgeous, as well, a great cover. She has such control of her voice I really could listen to her just sing the phone book. You can also tell she loves performing which is really great to see. Sam Lupton was the special guest and he was great. I can't remember what the cover was he sang in the first half (!) but in the second half he sang Part of your World while Rachel was getting changed and then he sang As Long As You're Mine with Rachel... have to say his voice is definitely more Boq than Fiyero but still great nonetheless. Quick mention to the band who were also great.

Louise still has a concert planned for 18th June at Symphony Hall despite getting ever bigger as her arrival date gets nearer. Last month at Symphony Hall at a Night at the Musicals type show, she was walking on and walking off after every number. I felt really sorry for her, should have given her a stool on stage.
Want to try and get to Rachel's B'ham show but won't pay meet and greet money as I think it's expensive for a fairly small venue when concert is very fairly priced.

Another fabulous show from Ms Tucker at Zedel last night - I was at one of her early shows there in March and while that too was brilliant, I thought there was an added assurance to her performance now as she nears the end of her first solo tour. She's funny, warm and sings her heart out - I really like her swing version of As Long As He Needs Me, even more on a second listen, but I think my favourite of the night was her hauntingly beautiful Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Her guest last night was Lee Mead, hot-footing it straight from the Holby set to join her in singing their duet from the album, You Matter To Me and later As Long As You're Mine.

So Rachel was amazing tonight (but what else would we expect?). Her and Samantha performed "All That's Jazz" and "For Good" together.

Such a wonderful night last night. I did basically just cry for 90 minutes, as it was the culmination of my 'Rachel year' (it was exactly a year yesterday since I saw her on Broadway, and then 4 times in her West End return) She's just so special and it was a brilliant show. Waving Through A Window took on a new meaning that I didn't get from the CD - maybe that comes with seeing someone act it too? - and She Used To Be Mine is as devestating as ever. Lee Mead was guest and sang You Matter To Me and the. as Long as You're Mine. 💚

I only now found out that she's doing 2 concerts during Edinburgh Fringe on Monday and Tuesday. I'd like to see her (she was my first Elphaba) I'm trying to figure out if I'd manage to get between two venues in 15 minutes...Or be 5 minutes late and pray they let me in.

Well, it looks like the pianist for the show I'm seeing (Ordinary Days) will be playing for Rachel at her concert, so I won't be the only person running through Edinburgh tomorrow evening!

People will talk if you both arrive together, out of breath and slightly sweating.
