Can't believe I'm only find out about this now. I wasn't quick enough for London tickets and I'm not home when she's in Belfast (typical 😒), but I'll have to order the CD when I get home tonight - it says they're only selling 250 online so will they all be signed then?

I'm surprised her new album won't be available anywhere else apart from one of the 250 signed copies?! £15 is quite expensive... I don't really want to pay for that right now but worried they will sell out (if they haven't already).

That's what I understood from her live video.

Rachel Tucker: On The Road includes the first studio recording of Kait Kerrigan & Brian Lowdermilk’s Hand in Hand, a new big band arrangement of the Oliver! classic Where Is Love? Rachel’s first original song I’m Falling (co-written by Musical Director Kris Rawlinson), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, a poignant and heartfelt nod to Rachel’s time playing the iconic “green girl”, and a completely reimagined studio version of No Good Deed, from Wicked. The full album track listing runs as follows:
1. Hand in Hand - Kait Kerrigan & Brian Lowdermilk 2. Where Is Love? - Lionel Bart, from Oliver! 3. When She Loved Me - Randy Newman, from Toy Story 2 4. Miss Otis Regrets (She’s Unable to Lunch Today) - Cole Porter 5. You Matter To Me (with Lee Mead) - Sara Bareilles, from Waitress 6. I Can’t Make You Love Me - Mike Reid & Allen Shamblin 7. The Man That Got Away - Harold Arlen & Ira Gershwin, from A Star is Born 8. I’m Falling - Rachel Tucker & Kris Rawlinson 9. No Good Deed - Stephen Schwartz, from Wicked 10. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John 11. Castle On A Hill - Ed Sheeran

If it's similar to what she's done on her first album, I'm not going to like it. In fact, I only listened to that album once because I couldn't suffer through the new arrangements a second time. She's turned amazing musical theatre songs into crappy pop songs. But then again, Kerry Ellis did the same on her second album (and, in parts, on her third as well).

So so excited for this album - I really enjoyed all the songs she sang at her concert, although the album includes expanded orchestrations for some of them so might sound a bit different. The only one that I wasn't a fan of was actually No Good Deed - it was very atmospheric, but I just didn't like the structure. I'm so so happy that When She Loved Me is on the album though, I love that song so much and Rachel sings it beautifully.

Rachel's on this radio show doing a little interview and playing Where Is Love from the album: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04zyw6cNot too impressed with the interviewer, he asked her if she'd ever been to The Apex when she said less than 5 minutes before that she'd never been🙄 Oh ye she's on after around 2 hours and 15 mins

Isn't it just certain places that are £30 - the one in London is - as I know the one in Belfast is only £22.50? When you go through all the lists it gives you just the standard tickets for sale - unless I'm missing something

The Cardiff one is £30 and that's where I'll be so I was just looking at that specifically.

I think the venues just have different prices, for example in The Apex, Bury St Edmunds, their prices are £20 and £26 depending on the seats.

Yeah that's what I meant. I gave in in the end and booked up for the meet and greet too, I think I would have regretted it if I hadn't.

As much as I love Rachel, I'd rather spend the extra £30 on seeing another show (or two).

Back in the day, performers signed cds after the show for free! I'll pass on the meet and greet but look forward to seeing Rachel in concert.

Well tonight was the first show of her tour, and have to say it was fantastic!!
Such a good mix of songs.
3 Wicked songs (As Long As You're Mine with Mark Dugdale, For Good accompanied by a local performing arts school, amd of course it wouldn't be complete without Defying Gravity), but she didn't do that reworked No Good Deed, which I thought was weird considering it was recorded for the album.
Highlights for me would have to have been Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hanson (slightly gutted it wasnt recorded for the album) and her fabulous and scarily uncanny Tina Turner melody, as well as her perfect Defying Gravity.
Also Good Morning with Mark Dugdale and James Huish was very entertaining, when they left the stage and started to go along my row, which was surprising as I was in the 3rd row and it was quite a squeeze.
Some great moments with her dad and sister.
Surprised that even with such a small band of 3, the music just felt so full of life. I have also got to say Rachel Tucker is hilarious.
It was such a good night, and great to see her in all her glory.

Parallel Productions posted on Friday that it will be sent out "next week" which is obviously this week by now. Hoping I get mine before I see her on Friday
