After Cinderella at Cadogan Hall last night, I'll be seeing Don Pasquale at Covent Garden tonight, and the first preview of Mary Poppins on Wednesday. I'm excited on all accounts! I thought for a second that you were seeing Joe Pasquale- now THAT would’ve something to get excited about 😝

Tonight, I shall be keeping Mark Curry in gainful employment by seeing the Bill Kenwright production of Ten Times Table. Please don't judge me!

@tallpaul , saw it a few weeks back in Windsor, looking forward to hearing your thought, takes a while to get coming together after the interval once it become more farcial. Well, although I doubt this particular production of Ten Times Table will be troubling any award juries, it was a pleasant enough way to spend a Thursday evening. This isn't a criticism, as I'm a great supporter of amateur theatre, but it did very much remind me of all those church hall staples I saw as I was growing up. My cunning plan worked; I booked a £15 seat with very limited legroom at the back of the circle, but was allowed, with the full permission of FoH, to upgrade myself to a £35 seat nearer the front (though still with limited legroom).

At the weekend I will travel to Copenhagen to see Lars Mikkelsen in a two-hander based on the novel Address Unknown by Katherine Kressmann Taylor. My Danish is still terrible but knowing the novel I am looking forward to watch the performances.

Having wanted to see Philip Glass for a long time there is now availability tonight at the Barbican, I just can't justify the cost - but nevermind! I have Miriam Margolyes tomorrow at The Park (Sydney & The Old Girl)! It might even be a first preview so goodness knows how ready she will be ..
Quiet week otherwise. Probably take in Anthony Gormley at the Royal Academy. Might try for Bear Ridge at the Royal Court on Monday.
