Is anyone else yet to receive their tickets for next Saturday? I'm now having to travel to London for work from Tuesday, so very concerned I'm not going to get them before I go! I didn't get mine and when I looked at the order online yesterday it showed the total number of tickets despatched at 0%. I messaged Seetickets and asked them to hold the tickets at the box office for collection on the day instead. Got a confirmation quickly.

I haven't had mine either, checked the other day and said it hadn't dispatched. I'll be all over it on Monday if it hasn't come by then.

Hope you get this sorted soon.
For some reason Ramin's UK concerts this year all seem to suffer from ridiculously late ticket despatch. I remember I had the same issue with his January gigs (that was Ticketmaster though). At least this time it's possible to switch to box office collection. In January that wasn't an option as the venues didn't have a box office.

Finally got an update confirming I can collect at the venue. Panic over!

Have you Ramin fans seen the thread about his appearance with Kerry Ellis in Godspell in August?

I enjoyed this, although I found his own material to be a bit so-so. He has a huge bro-mance thing going on with Hadley Fraser -it would be a good source for some slash fiction if anyone's that way inclined.

I was hugely entertained by the whole evening. Lots from the show earlier this year, I enjoyed every minute. Could We Start Again Please with Louise Dearman - fabulous. Empty Chairs - sang with laughter .. Loved it all.

I loved this. I'm a huge fan of his bluegrass music and actually prefer hearing the non-musical theatre songs at his concerts. Nothing against him doing Music of the night for the 1.000th time but for me the bluegrass and the "old" Sheytoons songs (in case anyone remembers Ramin's and Hadley's band) are what really make his concerts so enjoyable.

I went to see Ramin and his band do his Bluegrass thing last night in Leeds. I have seen him a couple of times with a big orchestra and loved him and I must admit I was a bit apprehensive about if I would like the Broadgrass.
How wrong can a person be? It was AMAZING!
The band were fantastic, there was such a great mix of music - show tunes, covers and I even enjoyed the original songs.
Ramin's voice is just brilliant and he sounded great. When the band sang in harmony it was thrilling.
There are some YouTube clips from the Leicester gig that I think I have overdosed on since yesterday.
I hope everyone who has seen him has enjoyed his concerts. I fear it will be a long time till we get him again .

Here is the video to it.
Not sure if I am a fan of the beard but his voice and looks are still heavenly.

Thanks theatreian for the link. Much as I’m a huge fan of Mr Karimloo, I have to say that I still prefer Hugh Jackman’s version overall. Ramin seemed to struggle with the low notes at the start but, after that, his heavenly voice sounded wonderful. Perhaps he could persuade Hadley to do a version too (or them both together??!!).

London concerts planned....
It might make me the most basic of Musical Theatre bitches but I am a whore for a bit of Ramin.

I think @ryan has answered any questions anybody might have for today. Good day to you.
(seriously, Ramin is talented as all hell and I've followed him since the National Tour of Miss Saigon about 15 years ago. But also: see above, I am only human after all)

I have seen him in a few shows and really was disappointed in his JVJ after all the hoopla. We sat there waiting to be blowm away by BHH and that night Hadley Fraser blew him off the stage. So bit of muscles and tatoos do not do it for me.

As much as I joke above, as I also said I think he's very talented. I've seen him in many musicals over the last 15 years (gah, we're old) and I've found him to be a talented actor and singer in both. As much of the thread her details as well. So it's not about 'some muscles and tattoos'. Obviously if you don't like him fine! there's plenty of musical actors who I don't 'get' either. But don't dismiss him as just muscles and tattoos or those of us who like him.
That said, nothing wrong with enjoying a bit of eye candy either.
