Apologies if this has been discussed to death before, but does anyone know how busy the lottery tends to be on Wednesday afternoons?

Apologies if this has been discussed to death before, but does anyone know how busy the lottery tends to be on Wednesday afternoons? I know that Wednesday afternoons are the quietest show of the week in general (there is often very decent seats at £29.50/£37.50 in advance), but in terms of lottery popularity, I'm not sure.

I didn't realise the seats were that cheap in advance, will definitely look into that. Thank you for the info!

I only played the online lottery once and won and I assume it's because one of the day I entered for was the Wednesday matinee which is not very requested so I would say give it a go.

Further to the above, Alexandra was spotted leaving the theatre via stage door after rehearsals last week.

Does the online lottery not exist anymore, btw? Couldn't find any sign of it on the website when I looked the other day.

Ahhh, okay! I saw the show yesterday (my friend won the lottery outside the theatre). First time seeing this new cast and I thought they were very good. We had the understudy David O'Reilly on for Elder Cunningham. He was very good and although not all of his jokes landed in the first act (I suppose that's partly to do with the audience) his songs were hilarious! Particularly Baptise Me which is always funny! KJ Hippensteel was also very good, and ranks very highly among those I've seen in the role! Stephen Ashfield is still as brilliant as ever, but I'd be surprised if he didn't leave at the next cast change, purely because he's been there from the beginning! It was so slick and excellent, and in my opinion it's still one of the best shows on the west end! (although I'm still not sure who is buying all of those £120+ tickets!) Here's a link to the online lottery Badoerfan. It's mentioned in the 'Ticket Lottery' section of the Buy Tickets page - www.bookofmormonlondon.com/BOMLotteryUK/

Are the lotteries in London and New York still busy?

I'd say about half the pairs who entered got tickets yesterday.

Are the lotteries in London and New York still busy? New York's is still pretty busy, especially right now with tourist season starting up, but they seem to do the retweet-lotto almost every day at this point rather than just at the end of the week. The in-person lotto got a little bigger for a while when people were able to come over after losing Hamilton (now with Ham4Ham being digital, not as much anymore).

Stephen Ashfield is leaving the London production on August 6th. He joins the Broadway company on August 23rd.

Any news on who the next McKinley will be? It'll be sad to see Stephen Ashfield leave the London production but Broadway is so lucky to get him!

With this show, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't officially announce the McKinley until their first day - that's what they did with Alexandra Ncube.
