I'm not, I'm shouting generally about the outrageous price increase.

Lots more tickets in stalls-s-rows D and E now on sale at £60 each Thank you! I've just sailed through the website with almost no delay! So excited now! Nothing could make me any happier! Unless Robert Icke arranges to start each show with Andrew Scott and Juliet Stevenson tossing a coin to decide who plays Hamlet and Gertrude.

Actually, in all seriousness, the production image of Andrew Scott seems to present Hamlet as Ophelia. Icke could be making the characters' identities very fluid here.

Although the Production Information suggests only binary options:
ghost / devil acting / madness be / not be

I called 200 hundred times. 199 times to redial a bloody theatre. Plus a similar amount of times pressing refresh on the computer with no joy.
Then spent an hour on hold before I got through to a human being. She was really nice though and I imagined she would be as stressed as me. Still, Andrew Scott will be worth it

At about midday yesterday after two hours of no luck, I asked the Almeida's social media person to get someone to call me back from the box office. Someone called me back about an hour later and so I was able to book my tickets slightly more easily than some other people here...
Like everyone else here, I haven't received confirmation emails, so hoping to get them soon as I can't remember what seats I agreed on! Was quite shocked someone had actually phoned back!

As lovely as Jessica Brown Findlay is (and she is delightful), I always think she sounds like she's always on the verge of clearing her throat.

Jessica BF is surely lovely, but I'm personally v excited to catch Luke Thompson on stage again. I think him a huge young talent. (And oh how brilliant he was on that Almeida's Odyssey readings!)

For anyone who missed out on tickets for this- it's booked its theatre for a direct west end transfer...

Not always very high value in terms of ticket yield or donations

Educated guess - Trafalgar Studios which has taken transfers from the Almeida previously (eg Oresteia also directed by Robert Icke) and has nothing scheduled after Buried Child which ends in early March. Hamlet ends at Almeida in early April so the dates work.

Unlikely to be too long a transfer given Juliet Stevenson (if she is transferring) starts at Young Vic in Wings in September.

Anyone know when exactly the next round of tix goes on sale? The site says "Before the opening performance on February 17th." Does that mean that the tix will be released ON the 17th before the first performance? Or on a date TBD that will definitely be before the 17th? And if it's the former, do we know what time of day it will be? Any info would be helpful.
Sincerely, a silly theatre-goer who didn't book when he had the chance

Straight after it's Almeida run.. theatre- I'm sworn to secrecy So, chances are that it will be open when I am in London in May? That would be terrific! I'll have to leave at least one slot open for this.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention! You wouldn't happen to know what time of day Almeida usual begins their ticket sales, would you? Would it likely be at midnight or more like 10am?

Check your log-in works before the day, get on the site as early as you reasonably can, click onto a new page every few minutes so it doesn't forget you're there, and pray if that's a thing you do. Good luck!

Don't want to alarm anyone, but there was a large coffin being lugged into the Almeida earlier this week....
