Well I reckon adara and I have found Ralph Richardson...! Those are the two. Check Richardson's Wiki entry and several of the obituaries of Murphy from last year. I missed his Falstaff, Bristol Old Vic 2002, not sure why.

Teamwork!
Thanks. (I do have a question in mind, although it's google-able, so you'll have to be on the honor system.)
What was the first production on Broadway to sell a $100 ticket?
(Bonus question: what was the second?)

To forestall googling, I happily report that hints are available.
(The first hint is that the second production to do it was actually ten years after the first.)

Okey dokey! My question is very much the same as Adara's, but the West End version: According to a well-known theatre critic who reviewed this musical for the BBC, which musical expected audiences to cough up the highest prices ever for a West End show? I'm sure it's Google-able if you really want, but just make it sound like you knew it anyway

Nope - well, not according to the reviewer (I'll post a link to the review once the right answer is revealed!). This musical opened (very soon) after The Producers.
